Bill got to open for an incredible band at 3rd and Lindsley downtown and decided it would be fun to not tell me he was doing one of our songs and call me up on stage with a mouthful of French fries! So much fun! So proud of you ! Your still such a rockstar!

Jennifer and I would just love to thank this incredible camera crew from Holland for treating us so well and making our job easy! Thank you also to The Journey Church for allowing us to work on this project on their stage. You guys are the best!

Hey friends! Earlier this month I mentioned that a TV crew from the Netherlands was coming here to film a documentary on the Buoys song, "Give up your guns" and how it led researchers to discover the award winning sound and music of Kane & Kelly. In case you don't know Jennifer Kane and I have been singing, writing and recording contemporary Christian music for nearly two decades having met in our church praise team. Well tomorrow is the day the TV crew will be filming and interviewing Jen and myself for the documenarty to be aired sometime late this fall. Keep watching for more details as they come and pray this gives us an even bigger stage to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

This song is so special to me! (Jennifer)
Almost 15 years ago I lost my dad. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever walked through in my life. As I was preparing to take a trip with my family to spread his ashes, I sat down to write. It started out as something to read in the moment while we were all together but then I heard my dads voice tell me, this is a song. Your first ever written song of your own. You see, my dad was a song writer. We shared the love of music together. Music and Jesus. It was that moment that I felt my dad and Jesus together. I took the song to Bill who always knows just the right music to put to lyrics (magical!) and this song was born. I never intended to put this song out to the world but I know that anyone who has lost someone they love will resonate with these words.

So blessed to have this beautiful young lady to share the music spotlight!

What an amazing night we have had at the Inspirational Country Music Association & Awards! It was an honor to be able to perform on the show and to get to meet and listen to so many amazing artists!! God is good!!

I wrote this song Shine a couple years ago and my amazing duo partner Bill unbeknownst to me was already working on a melody to a song he didn’t know existed yet. What makes this song so special to my heart is that the Lord made this come together in a way that in HE can and that this song is about my children. It’s about my prayer for them as they go out into this world and let the Lord shine through them. As senior night for my son came upon us last night, I found myself listening to this song through different eyes, ones with tears as my first born will soon be flying from the nest. I love them both so much it hurts but I know God is using them and will continue to use them throughout their lives to be the good in this world. Check out the song if you’ve never heard it. ✨ It really can be used in weddings, graduations, birthdays, anything that makes you think of someone you love!
