Need a favor- need some opinions of your top 3 !! Thinking of making shirts of my art for the Fiesta in Sept in Sterling- they wont have the black square around design- Im just tossing around ideas and using a app but the shirts will just be the actual picture when done. Im only going to pick about 3 designs or so as the money is coming out of my own pocket. Let me know what ya think! May print Sterling RockFalls Fiesta on the back maybe.

For a friend- 1st time drawing a dog- once I drew the eye, I knew I captured her🥰🥰Revvi- she was a beauty🩷🩷

Godzilla Minus One was THE BEST SGodzilla movie I have seen- beats out any American version any day! The Visual effects were astounding and he came in roaring and scared the sh*t out of my son and I- had to come home and draw him:) Courtesy also from my Godzilla shower curtain! Charcoal chalk pastels on navy blue paper🩵🩵

Festival of Trees- pops off this weekend til next weekend!!! You can bid on any tree there! Come check it out!

Festival al of Trees - this years enrty- Oogie Booie- Nightmare before Christmas!
Chicken wire-burlap- lots of glue! Drawings of the rest of the cast on wood panel with pastels/charcoal. Working on the dice ornaments! Festival coming up in 2 weeks- all trees are available to bid on!!!

Festival of tress- my 1st entry- Each branch was sprayed individually with complete colors of the rainbow-
I focused on the decoration and art more than the lights so when it was put up at the festival- once the lights were dimmed- the colors faded into the darkness. I was bummed out- had to buy flood lights!
It was a tree ahead of its time- now theres rainbow trees everywhere!!
This year- I focused on the lights as much as the art!

Sometimes taking the pic is just as much fun as drawing the pic. Picked the flowers in my way home from the park after a much needed ‘Clear my Head walk’. Aztec warrior with his princess- I added the landscape and panther

Commissioned piece- all she asked for was the colors.
Decided to use the smeared paint technique- added drops to black paint poured on the disc- dragged with a nail- epoxied.

Came out very beautiful!🩵🩷🩵🩷

1st time with clay- another glass table top. Drew design with erasable marker. Rolled out clay with my El Rodillo:) Been wanting to do some kind of art of the Aztec Goddess , . Led a rebellion with her brothers to kill her mother. The mother was pregnant- the baby in the womb jumped out and killed her, dismembering her body- .
She comes complete with bells- skulls- dismembered. Used a metallic combo of paint for the background.

Glass table top found in my attic- 1st art project that inspired me from my Aztec history book- the two headed serpent made from Jade. Used contact paper- cut out design- used regular acrylic paint for dragons and gold leaf foil for the sun. Back of table spray painted with stone textured spray paint. Used peacock feathers for tongue and sun. Pretty heavy piece!

Twig from the park- already had baby alien on my mind-
Twig had the shape- bought some clay- never worked with clay before- used random household items- spoon- razor knife- some sewing instrument. Molded around twig and went from there.
Bought a airbrush machine and wal-la!

Contact paper on mirror- draw design and used razor knife to peel away the background and or design- spray paint then peel away the rest. Alien and commissioned piece of Venom. For Venom- Used a textured “spider webbed” spray paint for frame of Venom and etching cream to make the design frosted white:)

Saw Co***ne Bear……had to draw a Bear:)
8 feet tall!
Added laters- light to dark brown
Mouth finished first- I usually tackle the hardest part 1st- it needed alot of purple/blue hues.
Million of strokes……took alot breaks for my arm! Drew on the charcoal- usey hand/fingers to rub in the black- side of the palm works best!

6 foot wall panel….Decided to Go with a wolf drawing. Started with charcoal for outline- white to help me see the dimensions.
Yellow or blue eyes??? Hmmmmm….went with blackness!

Used a matted clear spray to seal

Start with skull…… need an idea…. Chose stripes…..Rainbow stripes❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Tossing back ideas- add things- remove things…..
But she always comes together!
Glitter paint for skull with Epoxy for shiney sleak look.
Bought the bead jewelery this time- no more tedious bead work for me again!

Lots of matches! Over 2,000!! Glued each one by one. Burnt them 1st outside and rubbed off the burntside on sidewalk. Used ModPodge glue to glue down- let dry-
added coating on top to secure.
Made my own feathered necklace:)
Used brown/red clay to keep with the brown natural look. Used a spoon to shape- my basic ‘go to’ tool.
Used torch for added effect. Picked flowers from someones yard🙃
Used end of pencil to pick up each bead one by one and place in wet clay- used damp papertowels to keep clay soft for beadwork. Took foreverrrrrrrr😭😭

Painted the canvas whiter:) Pencil in the drawing. Add the feathers- used a small black comb dipped in paints then spread out feathers with small paintbrush.
Few wks later- couldnt shake the feeling that it needed something else- added splashes of paint!

Start with basic lines- add the white- helps me see the dimensions better.
On to Charcoal- start to shade

Looking at Bandana…..out popped the idea👍🏼
Used Glass paint for texture- almost like puff paint but dried hard- let dry
Spray painted all black- highlighted textured design with silver wax

How it started…..Bought a torch for the background
Added Sheets of Gold Leaf
Palm leaves instead of feathers

Start to finish 🖤❤️🖤❤️

Spray painted
Used black boa- poured glue over so it became harder and stiffer so i had a round texture.
Put on each feather one by one!
Friend also lasered out dragon head from my drawing:)
