Today, we step out from our normal routines and way of doing things to remember the reason we are free. For those brave service men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice so that we may have a chance at the right of liberty, we take pause. 100 years from Armistice, we honour all the fighting men and women in wars before and after that day and we pray that peace will be lasting. We are blessed as a people to have lived in a period of peace unprecedented in human history since the end of the Second World War. There are tragedies and there are conflicts, but no great wars have broken out, and we pray that the era of global wars has come to an end. Even so, we must not forget the struggle. The fight for the freedom we enjoy as Canadians and even as humans is never finished. There will always be enemies at the gate who threaten our liberty. For those able and willing to fight, we must never stop remembering their sacrifice. Lest We Forget.

As I get down to writing new content for the blog, I celebrate the best of single estate tea. In the cup today is our Korakunduh Estate decaf and organic tea. Single estate tea is often capable of showing much more than great flavour: It shows the passion and talent of the tea growers themselves. Single estate tea shows the entire process of tea making in one single cup. A great way to enjoy tea to its fullest and drink it the way it was meant to be.
