"Doin’ it Justice” is a community chorus dedicated to promoting peace and justice, sharing our love of music, improving our singing ability, and inspiring others.
We'd like to thank our beloved community for your support throughout the years! Our last concert was bitter sweet and we were so happy so many of you could join us for our Farewell Concert!
One of our chorus members wrote something that rings so true for many of us that we'd like to share it:
A final ‘note’ from Robin Trenda...
Can it really be just a little over a week ago Doin’ It Justice sang its last concert? I feel a deep sense of loss over letting go of this wonderful journey with all of you.
These 3 aspects of gratitude express what I will miss the most:
Music - I will miss being inside the music that was chosen for us. Thank you to music selection committee!! All the songs we’ve done over the years are beautiful songs, with fantastic harmonies, dissonance, movement, and most of all a higher message. It’s nice to sing along to the recordings, but it’s transformative to be inside the songs, live, with 25 other voices and feel the power of their message.
Under the direction of Warren - Each and every one of us gave Warren tacit permission to take us to places that we couldn’t get to on our own, individually and as a group. His artistry, perfectionism, creativity, stubbornness, and playfulness made that very easy to agree to. We each learned from, were changed by, and grew with him. We also changed him in ways he so eloquently expressed. In the end, we were one.
This beloved community - So many have made this a reality with years of organizing and work. I am so grateful to you all for that! By the time I joined a few years ago, it was already a well-oiled machine and I effortlessly slid in. Now, I just move the chairs and play drums once in a while (side note: Robin contributed WAY more than that lol!). All the behind the scenes effort is amazing, and essential to what the chorus has become.
Thank you!! I will miss seeing you all, of course, but I will REALLY miss singing with you all!

If anyone has anything they want to share, a memory, a thought, whatever it might be, we'd love to hear from you!!
This is the plaque that we presented to Warren the evening of our concert. It was gifted to Warren from all of us, including our beloved community! We love you all!

This is simply amazing!
Car concerts offer choirs a way to rehearse and perform | Your Classical | YourClassical For members of Luminous Voices, a professional choir ensemble in Alberta, Canada, rehearsing and performing safely during the pandemic has meant getting into their cars, driving to an empty parking lot and singing with each other's voices broadcast through their car radios.
Such incredible talent! I wouldn't have believed it was the same person unless I saw it for myself!
Marcelito Pomoy sings male and female voice! Great Incredible !
