The Community Catholic Youth Ministry (or CCYM) is a Catholic youth group that serves the teens of Sacred Heart La Plata, St. Catherine McConchie, and St.
Ignatius Hilltop - or any teen that we meet!
Students in grades 6-8 are invited to our next Bible series, starting Wednesday, Oct. 30th at the IHM House from 6:30-8pm. Contact the youth minister for more details and to RSVP.

We know it was a busy weekend, so thanks to everyone who spent some time at the ministry fair!
Sending off about 50 boxes of food and other supplies to the Diocese of Charlotte, NC, thanks to the generosity of our parish community. We continue to pray for all of those impacted by Hurricane Helene.
Youth Night last Saturday was enlightening: glow sticks and God’s mercy! We’ve got a great month ahead of us, with Bible studies, game nights, and more.

All students in high school are invited on a ski trip with Fr. Scott Woods this February! Enjoy a weekend at Canaan Valley - and if you need a break from the slopes, you can try out ice skating, snow tubing, arcade games, or horseback riding. We will leave the afternoon of Thursday, February 23 and return home on Sunday, February 26. Participants pay for ski lift pass and rental equipment, and scholarships are available. We want to have an idea of our numbers by Wednesday, December 21st, so please RSVP on our website (link in profile).

Students in grades 6-12, plus parents, are invited to our annual Holy Thursday Pilgrimage! Join in this tradition of visiting 7 churches to pray before the Blessed Sacrament in each one as we prepare for Easter. We begin with Mass at Sacred Heart at 7pm and end back at Sacred Heart at midnight. See our website for details and to RSVP.

For Lent this year, students in grades 8-12 are invited to sign up for prayer groups that will meet weekly throughout the season. These prayer groups are meant to be an opportunity for students, with adult leadership, to pray with and for each other, helping each other grow in faith and holiness leading up to Easter. Interested students can choose between 3 weekly meeting options. For more information and to sign up, see our website.

Deadline has been moved, so there’s still time to register! The Steubenville Youth Conference (aka Steubie) is open to all students currently in grades 8-12. You must submit a $50 deposit in order to register. Contact the youth minister for details and more info.
