$3,000 REWARD FOR INFO ON POACHED ELK
TWRA is seeking information related to a bull elk that was illegally poached in Anderson Co. on Sunday, Oct. 8. A $3,000 reward was generously donated by CORA, TWF, and the NWTF Pine Mountain Longbeards Chapter. KENTUCKY ELK POACHED!
Sometime last week, a collared bull elk was poached in Daniel Boone National Forest in McCreary County. The poacher left all of the meat on the bull to rot. The Kentucky Elk Guide Association and RMEF have teamed up to offer a $5,500 reward for information that leads to a conviction.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Kentucky State Police Post 11 in London, Kentucky, or call Kentucky Fish and Wildlife at 1-800-25-ALERT. Anonymous tips also can be made by texting “KFWLAW" along with a message to 847411 (tip411).
