Our collaborating artists for Vortex 2022 are so cool! Stage designer Jon Medina speaks to what you have to look forward to!
"For this one, we have developed each stage to interact with the natural light of the day by utilizing sparkly reflective materials and a beautiful color pallet for all of the custom-built pieces. The Arā stage (Main Stage), which will feature live acts, was inspired by an opulent beetle and a galaxy known as the Altar of the galaxies. While the Atriā stage (DJ Stage) came to be with the design echoing an ancient futurism-style greenhouse structure. Everything we are creating is oriented to activating the light for this daytime festival. We are so excited to see how these stages shine at the festival!"
