Aqeedah Matters

If a person is Muslim, It's not permissible for him to celebrate Christmas, to congratulate Christians for this holiday, and to respond to this greeting if they congratulate him.

New Year's Day liturgically marked the Feast of the Naming and Circumcision of Jesus, thus celebrating New Year's Eve, yes, in relation with the birth of the Messiah; this is rejoicing with their religious rites and practices. And rejoicing with kufr practices, if the person who is pleased with this is safe from disbelief then it is as ibn Al Qayyim, may Allah have mercy upon him said in his book, ‘the ruling on the dhimmi’ it is more severe than being pleased with drinking alcohol and worshiping the cross.

The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever imitates a people is one of them.” (Narrated by Abu Dawud, 4031; classed as sahih by al-Albani in Sahih Sunan Abi Dawud)

Moreover, offering greetings on this day that comes back each year comes under the heading of celebrating it and taking it as a festival, which is also forbidden.

It is not permissible for the Muslims to exchange greetings on the occasion of the Gregorian New Year, and it is not permissible for them to celebrate it, because both of these matters involve imitation of the kuffaar, and we have been forbidden to do that.

Allaah says :
"Whoever seeks a religion other than Islaam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers." - [Aal ‘Imraan 3:85]

It was narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever bears witness that there is no god except Allaah alone, with no partner or associate, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger and that ‘Eesa is His slave and Messenger, and His Word which He bestowed upon Maryam and a spirit created by Him, and that Paradise is real and Hell is real, Allaah will admit him to Paradise (and grant him a position therein) according to his deeds.” (al-Bukhaari, 3435; Muslim, 28).

It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “By the One in Whose hand is my soul, soon the son of Maryam will descend among you as a just judge. He will break the cross, kill the swine and waive the jizyah. Wealth will become so abundant that no one will accept it [as charity].” Narrated by al-Bukhaari (2222) and Muslim (155).

عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه مرفوعًا: «والذي نفسُ مُحمَّد بيدِه، لا يسمعُ بي أحدٌ من هذه الأمة يهوديٌّ، ولا نصرانيٌّ، ثم يموتُ ولم يؤمن بالذي أُرْسِلتُ به، إلَّا كان مِن أصحاب النار».

Ahlul bid'ah do lots of efforts in respect of deeds.They think that they are acquiring great virtues but infact they are "LOSERS" as all their efforts have been wasted. They're in illusion and delusion.

Abu Hurayrah narrated, as marfu' Hadith, that the Prophet (PBUH), said: 'Allah, Exalted be He, said, 'I am the One Who is never in need of a partner. If anyone does anything in which he associates anyone else with Me, I shall abandon him with one whom he associates with Me. (Related by Muslim)

Whoever claims that something from what was in the time of the Messenger is no longer judgement, and it changed after his death, then already he has chosen other than Islam as a religion. This is due to the fact that those acts of worship, judgements, things legislated as haraam and halaal and incumbencies of the religion which were in his time, are the Islam which Allah is pleased with for us. And Islam is nothing other than that.

A Strong Reply To Innovators

Narrated by al-Bayhaqī with a correct chain of narration that Imām Sa’īd b. Al-Musayyib رحمه الله once saw a man praying more than two (Sunnah) Rak’āt after the beginning of Fajr, making bows and prostrations abundantly in it, so he forbade him.

The man said, “O Abū Muḥammad, is Allāh going to punish me for praying?” the Imām replied: “No, but He will punish you for *OPPOSING* the Sunnah.”

“If We had sent down this Qur'an upon a mountain, you would have seen it humbled and splitting from the fear of Allah.”

[Surah al-Hashr 59:21]

Imam Ahmad recorded that, Ibn Abbas said that the Messenger of Allah said,

لَمَّا أُصِيبَ إِخْوَانُكُمْ بِأُحُدٍ جَعَلَ اللهُ أَرْوَاحَهُمْ فِي أَجْوَافِ طَيْرٍ خُضْرٍ تَرِدُ أَنْهَارَ الْجَنَّـةِ وَتَأْكُلُ مِنْ ثِمَارِهَا وَتَأْوِي إِلى قَنَادِيلَ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فِي ظِلِّ الْعَرْشِ فَلَمَّا وَجَدُوا طِيبَ مَشْرَبِهِمْ وَمَأْكَلِهِمْ وَحُسْنَ مُتَقَلَّبِهِمْ قَالُوا يَا لَيْتَ إِخْوَانَنَا يَعْلَمُونَ مَا صَنَعَ اللهُ لَنَا لِيَلَّ يَزْهَدُوا فِي الْجِهَادِ وَلَا يَنْكُلُوا عَنِ الْحَرْبِ

When your brothers were killed in Uhud, Allah placed their souls inside green birds that tend to the rivers of Paradise and eat from its fruits. They then return to golden lamps hanging in the shade of the Throne. When they tasted the delight of their food, drink and dwelling, they said, `We wish that our brothers knew what Allah gave us so that they will not abandon Jihad or warfare.'

And never think that Allāh is unaware of what the wrongdoers do but He gives them respite up to a Day when the eyes will stare in horror.

Ibrahim 14:42

وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ اللّٰهَ غَافِلًا عَمَّا يَعْمَلُ الظّٰلِمُوْنَ ؕ اِنَّمَا يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ تَشْخَصُ فِيْهِ الْاَبْصَارُ ۙ

ناانصافوں کے اعمال سے اللہ کو غافل نہ سمجھ وه تو انہیں اس دن تک مہلت دیے ہوئے ہے جس دن آنکھیں پھٹی کی پھٹی ره جائیں گی.

Fault in Aqeedah:

If a person follows some of the teachings of Islam and neglects others, by failing to do some of the obligatory duties or by committing some of the acts that are forbidden, this is a shortcoming in his faith and a weakness in his belief and his love for Allāh and His religion. This is undoubtedly a fault in his ‘aqeedah.

Don't care about what people say about you, especially when you are upon the truth. Don't pay attention to distractors.They will only make you to lose focus. The one who looks here and there will not progress in his journey. You can't defend yourself. The more you raise defences, the more they slander you. You don't owe anyone explanation. They are the ones who owe their Lord explanation on their slandering. The best thing is to ignore tale careers and focus on pleasing your Lord alone with your words and actions.

Yaa Allah grant your slaves victory over the wicked criminals who slaughter the believers. O Allah, bring the Muslims back to Your Religion, unite them with Tawheed and rid them of the hypocrites. We beg of You to take vengeance against the plundering Zionists and their supporters. While we may have fallen short in fulfilling our duties towards You, we plead with You to overlook our faults and shower us with Your mercy and send unto the enemy a punishment that cannot be repelled. We have hope only in You,يا رب العالمين

The Messenger of Allah said: “Friday is twelve hours in which there is no Muslim who asks Allaah for something but He will give it to him, so seek the last hour after ‘Asr.” [Classed as saheeh by al-Albani].

Please make Dua for the defenders of Masjid al Aqsa, for sacrificing their wealth, families and lives.

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) said:
"Rush to do good deeds. A Fitnah will occur that is like a portion of the dark night, morning will come upon a man as a believer, who will be a disbeliever in the evening, and evening will come upon a believer, who will be a disbeliever in the morning. One of them will sell his religion for goods of the world."
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنِ الْعَلاَءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ بَادِرُوا بِالأَعْمَالِ فِتَنًا كَقِطَعِ اللَّيْلِ الْمُظْلِمِ يُصْبِحُ الرَّجُلُ مُؤْمِنًا وَيُمْسِي كَافِرًا وَيُمْسِي مُؤْمِنًا وَيُصْبِحُ كَافِرًا يَبِيعُ أَحَدُهُمْ دِينَهُ بِعَرَضٍ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ‏.‏

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "There will be afflictions (in the near future) during which a sitting person will be better than a standing one, and the standing one will be better than a walking one, and the walking one will be better than a running one, and whoever will expose himself to these afflictions, they will destroy him. So whoever can find a place of protection or refuge from them, should take shelter in it."

سَتَكُونُ فِتَنٌ القاعِدُ فيها خَيْرٌ مِنَ القائِمِ، والقائِمُ فيها خَيْرٌ مِنَ الماشِي، والماشِي فيها خَيْرٌ مِنَ السَّاعِي، ومَن يُشْرِفْ لها تَسْتَشْرِفْهُ، ومَن وجَدَ مَلْجَأً أوْ مَعاذًا فَلْيَعُذْ بهِ.

الواجبُ على المُسلمِ أنْ يَجتنِبَ مَواضِعَ الفِتنِ؛ لأنَّه لا أحَدَ يَأمَنُ على نفْسِه منها، والمَعصومُ مَن عَصَمَه اللهُ تعالَى، وقدْ أرشَدَ النَّبيُّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ أُمَّتَه إلى ما يَجِبُ فِعلُه في وَقتِ الفِتنِ، وحذَّرَها مِن سُوءِ عاقِبةِ الانخِراطِ فيها.
وفي هذا الحَديثِ يُخبِرُ النَّبيُّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ أنَّه ستَحصُلُ وتَأْتي فِتنٌ على هذه الأُمَّةِ، والمُرادُ بهذه الفِتنِ: الَّتي يَختلِطُ فيها الحقُّ بالباطلِ؛ فلا يُعلَمُ المُحِقُّ فيها مِن المُبطِلِ، ويُقاتَلُ فيها على الدُّنْيا. «القاعِدُ فيها خَيرٌ مِن القائمِ، والقائمُ فيها خَيرٌ منَ الماشي، والماشي فيها خَيرٌ منَ السَّاعي»، والمَقصودُ بَيانُ عِظَمِ خَطَرِها، والحَثُّ على تَجنُّبِها، والهرَبِ منها، وعدَمِ التَّسبُّبِ في شَيءٍ منها؛ لأنَّ سَببَها وشَرَّها وفِتنتَها تكونُ على حسَبِ التَّعلُّقِ بها؛ فالقاعِدُ يكونُ أقلَّ مِن الماشي، والماشي أقلَّ مِنَ السَّاعي، وهكذا، «ومَن يُشرِفْ لها تَستَشْرِفْه»، أي: مَن يَتطلَّعْ إليها ويَتعرَّضْ لها تَغلِبْه وتُهلِكْه، «ومَن وجَدَ مَلْجأً، أو مَعاذًا فلْيَعُذْ به»، أي: مَن وَجدَ طَريقًا يَتِّقي به المُشارَكةَ في هذه الفِتَنِ فلْيفعَلْ، ولْيَعْصِمْ دِينَه ودُنْياه مِن الخَوضِ فيها.
وفي الحَديثِ: عَلامةٌ مِن عَلاماتِ النُّبوَّةِ.
وفيه: الإخْبارُ بوُقوعِ الفِتنِ للتَّحْذيرِ منها، وليَتأهَّبَ النَّاسُ لها، فلا يَخوضوا فيها، ويَسأَلوا اللهَ الصَّبرَ والنَّجاةَ مِن شَرِّها.

Our prayers are with and for the believers who are upon the truth and who are and have been oppressed. May Allah support the truth and its defenders and may He destroy the plots of the treacherous, the usurpers and the opponents of truth and decency.

وَمَا النَّصْرُ إِلَّا مِنْ عِندِ اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ

{And victory is not but from Allāh. Indeed, Allāh is Exalted in Might and Wise.} (8:10)

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ قیامت قائم نہیں ہو گی ، یہاں تک کہ مسلمان یہودیوں کے خلاف جنگ کریں گے ، اور مسلمان ان کو قتل کریں گے ، حتیٰ کہ یہودی درخت یا پتھر کے پیچھے چھپے گا اور پتھر یا درخت کہے گا : اے مسلمان ! اے اللہ کے بندے ! میرے پیچھے یہ ایک یہودی ہے ، آگے بڑھ ، اس کو قتل کر دے ، سوائے غرقد کے درخت کے ( وہ نہیں کہے گا ) کیونکہ وہ یہود کا درخت ہے ۔
(صحیح مسلم:7339)

Allah said
لَتَجِدَنَّ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَدَاوَةً لِّلَّذِينَ امَنُواْ الْيَهُودَ وَالَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُواْ

Verily, you will find the strongest among men in enmity to the believers the Jews and those who commit Shirk

Al-Ma'idah 5:82

لَتَجِدَنَّ اَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَدَاوَةً لِّلَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوا الْيَهُوْدَ وَالَّذِيْنَ اَشْرَكُوْا ۚ وَلَتَجِدَنَّ اَقْرَبَهُمْ مَّوَدَّةً لِّلَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوا الَّذِيْنَ قَالُوْۤا اِنَّا نَصٰرٰي ؕ ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّ مِنْهُمْ قِسِّيْسِيْنَ وَرُهْبَانًا وَّاَنَّهُمْ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُوْنَ

یقیناً آپ ایمان والوں کا سب سے زیاده دشمن یہودیوں اور مشرکوں کو پائیں گے[1] اور ایمان والوں سے سب سے زیاده دوستی کے قریب آپ یقیناً انہیں پائیں گے جو اپنے آپ کو نصاریٰ کہتے ہیں، یہ اس لئے کہ ان میں علما اور عبادت کے لئے گوشہ نشین افراد پائے جاتے ہیں اور اس وجہ سے کہ وه تکبر نہیں کرتے۔[2]

﴿لَا يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ جَمِيعًا إِلَّا فِي قُرًى مُّحَصَّنَةٍ أَوْ مِن وَرَاءِ جُدُرٍ ۚ بَأْسُهُم بَيْنَهُمْ شَدِيدٌ ۚ تَحْسَبُهُمْ جَمِيعًا وَقُلُوبُهُمْ شَتَّىٰ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَّا يَعْقِلُونَ﴾
[ الحشر: 14]

They will not fight you all except within fortified cities or from behind walls. Their violence among themselves is severe. You think they are together, but their hearts are diverse. That is because they are a people who do not reason.

Al-Hashr 59:14

لَا يُقَاتِلُوْنَكُمْ جَمِيْعًا اِلَّا فِيْ قُرًي مُّحَصَّنَةٍ اَوْ مِنْ وَّرَآءِ جُدُرٍ ؕ بَاْسُهُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ شَدِيْدٌ ؕ تَحْسَبُهُمْ جَمِيْعًا وَّقُلُوْبُهُمْ شَتّٰي ؕ ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَّا يَعْقِلُوْنَ ۚ

یہ سب مل کر بھی تم سے لڑ نہیں سکتے ہاں یہ اور بات ہے کہ قلعہ بند مقامات میں ہوں یا دیواروں کی آڑ میں ہوں[1] ، ان کی لڑائی تو ان میں آپس میں ہی بہت سخت ہے[2] گو آپ انہیں متحد سمجھ رہے ہیں لیکن ان کے دل دراصل ایک دوسرے سے جدا ہیں[3]۔ اس لیے کہ یہ بےعقل لوگ ہیں.[4]

The struggle has always been and continues to be between haqq and batil, Islam and kufr ,truth and falsehood, Iman and disbelief.

Shaykh ul-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله:

“When victory returns to the disbelievers, it’s because of the sins of the Muslims, their lack of imān, and their ignorance of Tawhīd. But if they repent in perfecting their imān, and in returning to authentic sunnah, Allāh will ensure victory without the least of doubt!”

اللهم انصر الاسلام و المسلمين في كل مكان، يارب العالمين

Deviation is much more dangerous than ignorance.
