Tryouts are still on for tonight. We will meet at the first base dugout on Arnold by the cages. We will get started at 6:30 so please be there earlier to get warmed up.

The Armour boys got to work with 9 year major leaguer Jeff Frye this evening. We had a good work out, but the star of the show was retired Army Colonel Craig! He was a soldier, head baseball coach at West Point and is a scout. He delivered a message the boys needed to hear. It was cool to watch their faces and actions as he talked to them. A big thank you to Terry Wilbanks II for making this happen! We are grooming young men, not just ball players. There is a difference.

Proud of our guys. They have came a long way!

A lot of Armour boys tried out for high school teams yesterday, a lot more coming in the next couple of years. We are proud of all of them and can’t wait to watch them to continue to grow.

The Texas Armour family lost one of our own this week! Rylan Cade, you will be missed and loved my man. We are still proud of you!

Texas Armour 12U AAA will be having tryouts Wednesday 11/15 and Monday 11/20 at 6:30PM for our spring season. We are based out of Hallsville. The tryouts will be held at the Hallsville Baseball Association complex. We were recently bumped to AAA and looking to build on a strong fall. This group got bumped to AAA! This 12u group took a lot of lumps when they were younger. They have stayed the course and are becoming ball players. Very proud of the boys, coaches and parents! Keep grinding.

The boys came up a little short in the championship game but they had a great day! Very proud of how they competed and the growth they’ve shown. Armour proud!

The home run boys this weekend. Grayson with 2, Maddox and Nolan. Proud of these dudes!

These young men did again! After a lackluster Saturday they brought it on Sunday going 3-0 beating 3 really good teams to win the tournament. We could not be more proud of them. Keep grinding fellas.

Texas Armour 12U had a great weekend at the 300 Point Lone Star Shootout in Tyler this weekend. They went 4-0 out scoring their opponents 35-10 and winning their 2nd tournament out of the last 3 played. Two years ago the boys had a hard time just not getting run ruled and after a lot of hard work they are seeing the results them and the parents that stayed the course deserve. I could not be more proud of this group of players, coaches and parents! The future is bright.
