Season 2022 for Evergeen Speedway’s Mini Stocks is in the books with Lane Sundholm and the #18 FMR Team as the Champions.
What a season it has been!
We were undefeated in the races.
We experienced 2 disqualifications in post-race tech, neither of which were performance enhancing issues.
Children spectators from every race went home with a trophy that we hope inspires them to become the next generation of racers and race fans.

As for us, we knew this would be our last full-time race season so our goal from the beginning was to get this Championship for Lane and for our team. We met that goal with the help of our crew: Jim Heller and Bryant Carlson. Countless hours were spent by them and our crew chief, Jeff Kessler every single week to improve and repair any damage because that’s what it takes to be champions. Never get good and rest in that. Always learn and seek to improve and build on what you have! There will always be something to learn.

THANK YOU for allowing us to do what we love, for being a part of it and for supporting the dream that we had to reach this milestone. We couldn’t have done it without your love and support!

The Monroe Fair Days Parade is back! One of city's favorite summer event is returning this year; the parade will begin this Saturday, August 27th, at 11am. A reminder to drivers that West Main Street will be closed from 10:30am to 1:00pm. Detour route signage will be posted for traffic. Thank you!

Race Day June 12, 2021 was a great day! Weather cooperated right up to the end before drizzle started. We were blessed as a team to be able to give a First Place trophy to an unsuspecting spectator after the podium, which was a priceless experience.

This was only our 4th race as a team and our team is really gelling and having a lot of fun. Amazing job, Lane Sundholm, Jim Heller, Bryant Carlson, Heffe, Jeff Kessler on making the car it’s best and bringing home the win. Thank you to the girls who provide the food and beverages that get us through the day and of course, the entertainment and support. And we’d also like to include our neighboring race teams who all work together with each other to help make each team be able to race with their best equipment possible. The working together to make each as good as it can be is what race family does and we feel blessed to be part of that. Looking forward to our next race on Saturday, June 25th!

As of this afternoon, we are excited and thrilled to add J2 Racing Parts as a sponsor to our team! They have graciously sponsored our race fuel for the 2021 season. It’s been a minute or two since we’ve posted to our page. We have spent the past couple of years repairing damage to our mini stock cars and working to improve them. One is now running with our friend, Mike Jensen as the 521 car.

We have recently made an acquisition of a new•to•us mini stock from our friend, Thomas Stanford and have added Lane Sundholm as a driver to our team. We had a very successful night last night, despite the rain, in our first outing with the car and brought home 2nd place. Thomas graciously helped us change the car to a rain setup and acted as our team spotter, guiding Lane through a great race that went off without so much as one caution! We are happy to have added Jim Heller as a crew member, also.
