Transcona Badminton Club

Transcona Badminton Club is back in action at Bernie Wolfe Monday, October 7. Same time - 7 to 10 pm. Membership for the year remains at $20.

The following Monday (Oct 14) is a holiday so no badminton. Back again on the 21st.

There is no badminton on Monday May 20 due to the Victoria Day holiday. Our last night of the season is Monday May 27. We usually start up again the first week of October.

We have no badminton for 2 weeks due to school events. Back at it on April 29.

We have no badminton for the next 2 weeks. There is a school event on March 18, and the school is closed for spring break on March 25. Back at it on April 1. Yes, schools are open on Easter Monday.

Just a reminder that due to Louis Riel Day there will be no badminton this Monday, February 19.

Just a reminder there is no badminton tomorrow night. Our holiday tournament is on Monday December 18th. Be there as close to 7as you can.

We will be having our annual super casual, super quick Holiday tournament on Monday December 18. We will make up the doubles teams, you will play 4 or 5 round robin games and we will have prizes for all participants. I will be sending a sign up sheet around so you can confirm your attendance. Please arrive on time (7 pm) that night!

We are planning on a separate round robin for kids under 15, so please note on the sheet if you are under 15.

The school is not available on Monday, December 11, so no badminton that night.

There will be no badminton over the winter holidays since the school is closed. December 18 will be our last night, then back on January 8.

Badminton is still on tonight!

We have had a lot members join last year so TBC should review how many members are coming back before inviting friends and family to join the club.

Please try to remember all badminton etiquette such as not walking over any part of a court while a game is in session. Try not to walk behind a court while a rally is happening.
Taking your turn at using courts. Let others have a chance to form a group to play before jumping back onto a court.

Our season is coming to a close! There is no badminton on May 8, and our last night is May 15. So 2 more Mondays - May 1 and May 15. Hope to see everyone out next year !
