Skooter Schultz - Photo and Video
Film, Photography, and Design created by Skot Lindstedt.
He’s straight out of the 80’s and I love it.
the water was cold and you’d never be able to tell it from the amazing photos we got that day!
Looking back at those warm summer days.
High Dessert 🦉
One of my very favorite shots. Bison are so incredible and so powerful but as a photographer I can’t help but notice their texture! Bison’s coats shed revealing layers and layers of different hair types ; from short strait thin patches of hair to the curliest spirals and even mats. Catching this photo in Yellowstone was incredible, but capturing one with his tongue sticking out was the cherry on top of a photo I’m proud of.
Available in the shop.
Cats are the best.
Wishing my fiancé would let me get one (hint hint ) but until then I’ll have to chill with my friends cats and grab a photo when I can.
Some moments are magical all on their own. I was lucky to attend this wedding as a friend and guest but I’m so glad I was able to sneak in a few shots (with permission) while the sun illuminated the brides dress and the tall grass caught the last rays of the day.
Love doesn’t need decorations, but they sure are pretty.
Some weddings have more decorations and some have less. The decorations really set the tone for the environment though.
I love golden tones on a a warm sunny day! Top a candlestick with some flowers and you can really start to class things up for a more formal setting.
Oregon Summer weddings are so fun! These two were cracking jokes and laughing the whole time. It’s easy to tell two people are meant for each other when the only time they stop laughing is to kiss! I love farm weddings, but maybe that’s the Arkansas in me. 🦢
Since I became a photographer I’ve always wanted a shot of a mountain hidden behind wisping clouds. This shot of Mt. Hood felt like a dream come true. It was cold and on the precipice of thunderstorm. Moments later the clouds filled in and the rain started.
Photography is a game of chance and you only get the shot if you’re there.
It was cold, but worth the shot!
This one is in the shop and part of the 20% off prints sale thru Dec 1st.

Kauai
I love the way this shot from the Yellowstone River turned out, with the sun creating that soft glow and all the rich texture and dimension the rivers water creates.
This print titled “Aquatic Dance” is currently available in the store https://www.skooterschultz.com/shop
I never thought such a tiny hill would take so much effort to climb, but the elevation makes even speaking difficult. I was the only one of my friend group to avoid the elevation sickness up there.

Another day and life provides another piece of ever changing, ever moving, art.
Featured on August page of the 2024 Clouds Calander
I’ve always been fascinated by clouds and the momentary art they create. This is a favorite, the clouds remind me of the mast of a ship, I imagined the ship as I floated past. It would have to be filled with pirates on an expedition for floating treasure!
Remember, Remember, the 5th of November…

More insane views from Kauai.
This place is called Waimea Canyon but it’s sometimes referred to as the Hawaiian Grand Canon.

this is my favorite photo I got of the eclipse yesterday!
Total Annular Eclipse 🌑
We woke up at 4:15a to make it to the crater rim by 5:30a. We drove down the night before knowing the 10% chance of rain and call for partly cloudy skies meant it was 50/50 whether we would see the eclipse at all or not.
After watching the sun rise over Crater Lake the skies turned grey. I was watching the clock and knew it had started but I couldn’t even locate the sun.
It was time to go. We hopped in the car and headed North East, back towards our hotel. It was there that I’d seen thee stars in the sky last.
With our eyes on the sky we chased the sun and the moon. I told Danny, “I’m here for an eclipse, not Crater Lake.”
35 minutes down the road and a couple, “pull over, I see it! Ah the clouds got in the way.” We did see it and the clouds dissipated or moved enough we saw it for a few minutes.
I fully expected to love the Ring of Fire picture when it was at totality but now that I saw it there’s something about the imbalance that I think is my favorite!
ps. New website in 3 Days
