DevilPriest (Polonia) - "In Repugnant Adoration" (Lp.) Sello: Spreading the Pest Productions Año:2022: Spreading The Pest Productions es uno de los sellos encargados de editar este acto de Death/Black Metal de los polacos DevilPriest. Este grupo de origen Polaco hace su aparición en el 2015 a.b. teniendo en sus filas a Tom Hermies y Necro Docre.
“In Repugnant Adoration” consta de seis himnos originales y un cover a los fineses Black Crucifixion. Musicalmente hablando, lo que interpretan recuerda a agrupaciones de su misma estirpe como al antiguo Behemoth (“Zos Kia Cultus”), Hate y a los austriacos Belphegor, las similitudes se ven reflejadas en la velocidad, técnica y ritmo de sus aberraciones.
En “The Eye of Seth”, “Walpurgis” y “Flesh Sculpted Out of Filth / Deliverance” este dúo tiene sus más bestiales ejecuciones, tres cortes que muestran que son fieles a los sonidos emanados desde su tierra natal.
Un disco interesante, personalmente no había escuchado nada de DevilPriest y luego de oír esta placa creo que buscaré su disco debut editado hace poco más de cinco años bajo el nombre de “Devil Inspired Chants”.
