I'd love to be releasing music again. I'd love to put in as much work as I did in the past and more. At first I thought there was nothing more important than music. It's because of this that I neglected many other things in my life and sugar coated it as "Sacrifices". The number one thing I neglected was myself. I'm just trying to be honest. After stepping away from music, my life has continued to get better mentally and financially. Which, is strange because music was my escape from broken homes and relationships in my life, as well as an attempt to make myself financially independent through my passion. I hope that no matter what your grind is, you're taking care of yourself. ☮️&❤️

There's alot of opinions going around at the moment concerning Zambian musicians VS Zambian DJs so here my take.

Honestly it's a two way thing. But we can compare it to so many other things, for example: would you wear clothes that don't look nice to you just because they're Zambian? Then again it's alot more difficult to compare, as liking or enjoying something is subjective meaning we all have our own thoughts about it. Its the same as DJs... Do you really think a DJ is going to want to play something that isn't the best of quality or even substance? I mean if the song is popping off regardless they will probably feel like they have no choice. It's the same with Zambian music. If everyone is liking and enjoying the song then DJs, club, or radio are gonna play that song to engage with their audience. Then again how are Zambian artists even supposed to get to this point if we aren't supporting them? I strongly believe that Zambia needs to restrict their foreign music and strictly play ATLEAST 80% ZAMBIAN music ONLY! Of course we all still want to hear all of our fav artists that aren't Zambian as well so they can take 20% of the overall music played.

As to conclude I believe it is a two way thing and I think this way for all Zambian products! Example: Why are you going into a store to buy a milkshake made in whatever country in the world for K20 when you can buy a local one that tastes just as good for K5? Some people maybe just prefer the taste of the one made abroad and it's their money if that's what they want, then they shouldn't feel pressured to have to buy the Zambian one just because it's Zambian. Perhaps I'm more patriotic than others, but then again not everyone can be me and vice versa.

So yeah if you're not going to support Zambian products they won't improve past a certain stage. On the other hand if your product isn't great people won't want it or want to use it in future and who can blame them.

First I wanted nothing more than a seat at the table. Occupying that seat seemed to be inconvenient for the others at that table. I respectfully left that table to pursuit the dream of making my own table. After making my own table it still seemed that my seat was inconvenient. So I gave up my chair and gave it to someone else that was looked at as an inconvenience at the table. Perhaps I did it because I knew how it felt to be in ones shoes... Perhaps I'm a carpet that people walk all over. Perhaps I'm both? Do you think this will stop me from making another table? Hell no! I'll make a new table to sit at everyday if I have to.

This was the first F.U.I.U artwork!

When I look at this picture a mix of different memories and energies (good & bad)
flow through my mind and body. Back then I couldn't care less how my artwork looked then, because all I cared about was making the music. I probably made this cover in the space of 10 or 20 minutes, said cool it's done and never looked back 🤣 It helps remind me how far I've come and to always put my all into my projects. When I say I used to walk from my parents house in Chudleigh/Jesmondene with a 1 strap bag that contained:

1. My laptop
2. A jar of w**d with a bunch of different smoking utensils
And My lyric book.

All the way into the middle of Kaunda Square to a small room rented out by 2 super producer brothers by the name of Sarrz and his elder brother Hurrikane. I remember there was a bed, a broken popcorn machine and a small desk where I went to put my laptop on and record from 10am and sometimes I'd leave the studio as late as 1 or 2 in the morning just to record F.U.I.U!
And my du***ss would walk all the way back home in the dark with a MacBook and the jar of w**d in my bag EVERY. SINGLE. DAY for 9 to 11 months 🤣 It was actually really dangerous and reckless of me but fortunately I was never robbed or any of the sort. All I wanted to do is give my dream everything I could possibly do to make it reality. When I listen to this project now I'm like wow this is such embarrassing trash 🗑️🤣🤣 The fact I even made 1 single fan with this is beyond unreal. The first F.U.I.U project dropped in the month of December 2012. The stars aligned and 10 years later I am completing the sequel...

There is no point to this post. I just like to talk sometimes ☺️
