Tired Iron members aren't just about tractors at the Farmers' Museum. Every year, we gather on the last day to enjoy the Carousel.

The annual pedal pull at the Farmers' Museum got a brief rain but these winners rose to victory anyway. We run four classes every year: under 50, 50-80, 80-100 and over 100 for the 'big kids' that still like to play. Congratulations to these strong legged individuals.
A big thank you to all the Stevens family for helping out..

The Ohio Haypress is up and running well.
Thank you to the Stevens family for all their hard work, gentle care and investment in this unique machine.
It will remain on display and be demonstrated as weather permits today and tomorrow at the Chenango County Fair.

The weather may be gloomy on occasion but the demos are in place and we are ready for the Chenango County Fair.
We are excited to have the popular Ohio Haypress back in our demo circle along with 2 corn processing demos, another popular round baler and a small animal treadmill that may just be making some butter at the fair.
We are also offering raffle tickets on a first prize 4 cord of firewood and second prize of 1 face cord.
And... kids, don't forget our tent is Bale Man's favorite hangout spot.

The Spring Hertiage Pull was a great success. We had a great turn out of tractors and spectators. Thank you to all that made this a huge success. We canā€™t wait to come back to the track again for our fall Antique-n pull October 14th. Here are some photos for your enjoyment. Take the photos and use them as you wish. There are more coming in the future as well. Iā€™d like to thank some of the people that put extra work into this event. So thank you Matt, Larry, Dave, and Kelcie. Without them this event wouldnā€™t happen. Thanks to Mary for announcing and helping with registration. Thanks to all our track help as well. Thank you to the S.C.A.T club as well.

Come join us for our spring tractor pull June 10th.
We will be at the General Clinton Park in the town of Bainbridge this year. The pulling track is located by the river behind the baseball fields. We will be having our stoneboat pull and transfer sled pulls. This is for stock tractors with classes from 3500 all the way up to 9500 lbs. Rules can be found on our page. Or you can reach out to Matt. He is the one behind all of this. We look forward to see you all whether it be as a puller, a helper, or just an on looker seeing what we are about. We may even have a few exhibition hooks with some ā€œenhancedā€ tractors as well. Registration is open at 8 and we hope to be pulling by 930.

Had a great weekend even with a few mishaps that had happened throughout the day. Plows came unhooked, tractors got stuck, tractors ran out of gas, and a few even broke. We all had a great time though. Saturday had 16 or 17 tractors. Sunday had a few is all, the weather deterred people. Even with all that we were were able to cover 20 or so acres on Saturday and 10 or so on Sunday. We want to thank everyone that came to participate and watch, Austin Farm Enterprises for their donation of the hamburger for lunch, and those that brought side dishes as well. We also want to thank Southtown Dairy for the use of the ground. We look forward to seeing everyone at the next plow day.

Tomorrow is the day weā€™ve been waiting for. Plow day happening in Sidney. The weather looks to be cooperating. Should have a day full of fun. Lots of ground to plow. Show up to participate or just to watch. See you there.

Preserving Farming Heritage

Tired Iron has grown and expanded since their founding members wanted to enjoy their antique tractors together in 2008. An average of 100 members, from 5 counties, now participate in 14 events throughout the season.

After our incorporation in 2015, we received our non-profit status that would allow us to positively impact our communities. Over the past few years we have supported to such causes as St Judes Childrens Hospital, Intrepid Fallen Heros and Oneida Cancer Healthcare; just to name a few. Periodically, our communities will give back by donating antique farm equipment. Being mostly farmers with personal memories of the equipment, it doesnā€™t take long for our members to get it working and out for demonstration at our events.

Our members enjoy a family atmosphere where all are welcome and helped if need be. We welcome interaction with the public and enjoy sharing our stories. Members are committed and hardworking because they love their ā€˜farming heritageā€™.
