I used Bodifying shampoo and conditioner and Elixir One to help protect and heal the highlights. Color Lock to protect the color from fading. And of course, I had to add my signature beach wave for the final look! I'm so happy with the results!! 😍

We did a natural face frame highlight for Brindley to enhance what the sun naturally gave her this summer. 🌞 She’s loving the short cut so we gave her a nice healthy trim to help her get through this semester of school. 💇♀️
I used Bodifying shampoo & conditioner, Elixir one, Color Lock system, and Gloss to add a soft shine at the end. ✨

My amaaazing fitness trainer, came in for a cut! She’s growing her hair out to donate so it’s all about keeping her scalp and hair nice and healthy. 💇♀️
I used Aloetherapy shampoo and conditioner to encourage a healthy scalp while still moisturizing the ends of her hair.
For styling products, I used Behave mixed with a tiny bit of Pure Polish. This combo is going to smooth her hair without weighing it down.
I also sprayed in a little Fortifi Keratin Repair, the quinoa protein helps to retain moisture and repair & strengthen hair keratin. ✨

I’ve been loving all these short curly cuts for the summer!
We kept the products simple, 2 pumps of Curl’n enhancing shampoo and scrunched in Curl’n enhancing conditioner.
While the hair was soaking wet I scrunched in Forming Cream which is a gel-cream combo. When it drys it leaves a cast for frizz control.
When you shake hair out at the roots you’re left with soft natural curls. 🤩

I’m so happy my dear friend Ashley was able to come to visit me. I gave her a full balayage to enhance her natural highlights and a fun s**ggy haircut. 💇♀️
For products, I used Bodifying shampoo and conditioner. Before the blowout, I used one pump of Elixir One, Boost at the root and our Color-Locking system, Sculpture mixed with Illuminate. ✨
After the hair was dried and before adding a beach wave I sprayed in our heat protectant, Retain. To set the curls I used Elevate workable hair spray and I finished off the look with Full Effects to add a little texture. ❤️

Brindley Rospars is loving her short hair! We did a maintenance trim to keep her hair healthy, and it was so wonderful catching up with her! ❤️
I used bodifying shampoo & conditioner, Boost at the root, and Behave through the ends. Then I did my Signature Beach Wave Curl, using retain as a heat protectant and Details as a finishing texture spray. 💇♀️

Natural summer balayage! ☀️
I used Bodifying shampoo and conditioner, elixir, Pure Polish, and mixed a dime size of Sculpture plus 2 sprays of Illuminate to create a color lock and smooth down the cuticle.
After the blowout I sprayed Retain heat protectant and created beach waves using my 1 inch Hot Tools curling iron. I finished off with Full Effects for a light texture and Piece Works to tame flyaways.

So excited to see Brindley next week!! The last time she was in she donated 10 inches of her hair!!! 💇♀️
For Brindley's hair, I used a bodifying shampoo and conditioner, and used Boost at her roots to get some lift. Additionally I used a dime size of Behave to fight against frizz and a pea size of Pure Polish to add shine.
After the blowout, I sprayed a dry heat protectant called Retain before using a Ghdhair flat iron to achieve a sophisticated, modern bob. Isn't she beautiful?? 😊

Behind the Scissors
Colleen attended Northport Boces’ fully accredited program for Cosmetology. While attending, she won 2nd place in Long Island Teachers Guild, Junior Hair Stylist in 2016. After completing 1,000 hours at Cosmetology School earning Renaissance (honors), she was licensed by 2017 and eager to continue her education.
Colleen has attended the Redken Exchange Color Master Class in May 2018, Eufora’s Foundations I course, the International Beauty Convention in NYC in 2018, and more recently attended a 3-day conference at Eufora’s Global Connection in 2019.
At Elysian Hair Spa she continued her education in their assisting program where she’s been educated in all facets of hair including: Barbering, Color, Balayage, Long Hair Dressing classes taught by leading industry professionals.
Colleen continues to amaze clients with some of her favorite services including: updos and haircuts.
