Are you headed to Virginia Tech's Homecoming festivities this weekend? If so, come by Healthstorian, say hi, and get an interview. As you can see from this video, you can't miss us!
VTCSOM Dean Cynda Johnson and JCHS President N.L. Bishop were Healthstorian's first two interviewees Saturday at Roanoke's Go Fest.
Introducing the Healthstorian
The Healthstorian is a vintage style camper that has been retrofitted as an audio booth. This mobile “storycorps” camper will go a long way in documenting the history of healthcare and of the health in our community and neighborhoods.
The amazing project is a result of collaboration between partners VTC School of Medicine and Research Institute, Jefferson College of Health Sciences, Carilion Clinic, City of Roanoke Libraries, and several departments at Virginia Tech; especially VT Library System and VTStories, a program dedicated to preserving Hokie history.
