Body positivity is everywhere right now and as much as i would LOVE to tall to you all about that. I just can't!.
While my body created 2 tiny humans and i am so grateful for that. I am not going to sit here and lie to you and say how happy i am in my own skin. I don't love my body and I dont feel happy in my skin right now.
It's a daily struggle to get closer and closer to feeling happy and being happy with myself. It's a constant mindset battle. But with every single day and every healthy choice I make im getting closer and closer to where I want to be.
I am sooo uncomfortable posting this picture. I am so harsh and judgmental to myself. But I want to reach that girl who is also uncomfortable and says harsh things to herself. Who is hoping and wishing for someone to reach out to who truly knows her struggles.
I am right here with you. By no means perfect and by no means happy in her skin RIGHT NOW.

I love having my girls for accountability.... i personally find it so hard to finish something when i dont have someone making me accountable...
I lead my girls by example which is why 1 or 2 times a week we have a LIVE WORKOUT to keep each other accountable.
Im so excited about this new program because it takes the pressure off committing for a long time. Its just 100 workouts! Thats all!!

- 6 romaine lettece leaves cut in half or full however you like...๐ฅฌ
- 1 medium tomato (diced)๐
- 2 chicken thighs๐
- diluted ranch
- avocado๐ฅ
Just make it how you would a taco but instead of tortilla use lettuce.

I believe in balance especially when it comes to kids. Let me explain...
You have seen all the yummy healthy food I eat but I do find a balance for my kids... I am not as strict with their foods like I am with mine. I mean they are kids after all...
It's still a healthy snack but also more fun for the kids. It's definitely a healthy nutritious snack for you.
I have 2 slices of toast of here:
Kids slice:
1 slice of whole grain toast
2 tsp of nutella
ยฝ banana
Moms slice:
1 slice of whole grain toast
2 tsp of cashew butter
ยฝ banana
A sprinkle of cocoa powder (for that chocolate taste๐.)
This could NOT be MORE true if it tried! I have come to learn I have some anxiety issues. So this is something I myself am working on...
There goes a circle of eating and feeling bad for what you ate, then saying well screw it what is once more since I already ate bad. And somehow what you ran to to release that anxiousness just makes you even more anxious.
I have leaened that when I exercise man all of it disappears its like you don't even remember what was going on, what was making you anxious or even depressed.
This is why I love my girls, we come together forget about everything going on and we just exercise and lift each others spirits.
Would you like to join us? Its always better with someone by your side than doing it alone. Lets make exercise our anti depressant ๐๐. Not food.
Sometimes being a busy mom I forget to eat breakfast๐. I know, I know a HUGE no no. But let's be real out happens.
I love this brunch meal because it combines everything you need. Some carbs for energy, some veggies because they keep us fuller for a bit longer, some healthy fats to also keep us full and for a delicious taste, and protein to keep us full and satisfied. Did I mention how delicous it is?

There are so many benefits to exercise that don't have anything to do with weightloss. Losing weight doesn't have to be your only goal when doing exercise.
Just this past week i had 2 different people ask me "why do you kill yourself exercising to lose weight"
I politely replied saying im not killing myself. I enjoy working out if only for the other benefits by themselves. Im also challenging myself. If you dont challenge yourself you wont change. I love pushing myself in my workouts.

She did 2 rounds of 21 day fix losing a whopping 14 POUNDS!!!๐๐๐

I rather lose weight and NEVER RESTRICT myself from eating whatever i want IN MODERATION.
Its a proven fact that when you restrict yourself sooner or later you will fall back into temptaion and binge eat. Then you messed up everything you were working so hard to achieve.

This has been floating around facebook for several days now and its been weighing on my heart to say something.
First of all i speak from experience having lost 80 pounds the right healthy way! Not this way. But i am in no means a nutritionist or doctor๐๐.
This "fad diet" below is so unbelievably UNHEALTHY AND BAD FOR YOU!!!! Why????
There are so many reasons but ill give you a few.
1. To lose weight properly is to lose .5 to 2 pounds a week! So the weight STAYS off!!
2. Your body will go into what we call starvation mode. Meaning your body is in shock causing the sudden weight loss, but AFTER you're done with this"diet" you will quickly gain this weight right back.
How? Because your body was essentially starving itself. So when you go back to eating your body will store up all that food like a squirrel storing acorns for winter. And your body will hold onto all of that food, rather than properly digesting it.
3. The most important one of all, you never learned how to eat healthy in the real world. Anyone can do a quick fix to drop weight but its what you do AFTER that matters. We all know we will get sick of eggs and salad every single day for the rest of our lives. So we know it wont last hence we go back to the same cycle of gaining back the weight you killed yourself to lose.
