"Allow your brush to dance across your canvas. You'll be pleasantly surprised at what you discover." ~ JMutton I am not a glass half full, nor half empty person.
I am happy to have the glass. I would probably use it as a tool to paint with in one of my paintings. When I paint all rules go out the window. I am a free spirit and portray that onto each canvas. An outside element, whether a song, a poem, a quote, a vision….. sparks my soul and ignites a fire of emotion onto my canvas. My paintings are never planned. They are created from pure intuitive inspira
tion. Each painting consists of many “layers of moments” ~ a separate moment of life, emotions, feelings, time. There are never any boundaries. I love to explore different techniques and variations of applications of my mediums. The majority of painting tools in my studio are not purchased in an art store. The most uncommon of items will create a texture or give my painting the "umpf" it needs, such as a paper towel roll. I discovered it will make incredible line texture. Other crazy items in my studio I paint with are a telephone cord, PVC pipe, usual plugs. A hardware store awakens a spark in my creative soul and anything can become a painting tool. I don’t consider myself an abstract painter being the majority of my paintings are not of the physical but rather of spiritual and a perception of the senses. I am an intuitive painter.
