Vanilla beans used in Top Shelf Vanilla Extracts are sourced from Madagascar, Mexico and Tahiti and are grown organically. TSV continues in the spirit of the vanilla growers by embracing a slow steeping brew process of our extracts. Selected vanilla beans are first opened to expose thousands of flavorful tiny black seeds nestled within each vanilla pod and then combined with certified gluten-free pot stilled handcrafted vodka. Every small batch is allowed to quietly and slowly brew for 5-6 months in a dark, cool location. The extracts are watched over, shaken by hand, taste & smell tested throughout the natural brew process. No crushing of the vanilla beans, damaging heat percolation or pressure methods used. Once mature, each small batch of Top Shelf Vanilla Extract is twice-filtered, hand bottled, sealed and numbered so no matter what small batch you enjoy, you’re guaranteed its origin and potency.
