Good Morning all yesterday I was part of a distinguished group of 49, 1st time authors, who were recognized by National Library and Information System Authority - NALIS for writing our 1st book in the fiscal year. I felt a sense of joy, accomplishment and was truly humbled. Joy because my simple work was being recognized nationally. Accomplished, because it was surely no easy process from beginning to end and humbled because the event made me reflect on God's gift to all of us that we are all talented and have so much potential. The MC gave a quote, can't remember the source but the quote was "your 1st book is from your heart and the 2nd is from your head...". As I reflected on this statement, surely my 1st book was from my heart, plenty emotions, just wanted to get it all out.share my story, my principles.. there were some grammatical errors, could have said somethings differently but I completed my 1st book and that's all that matters. Now onto the 2nd one..about marriage...its taking sometime to take form. Its surely from my head, more deliberate, more time to research, more experiences required and surely I'm getting the experiences to share with you in an authentic way and get needed feedback.. The journey has only now begun but I know it will be a success because God is at the centre of my life. Thanks to him, my husband, my family, my deceased parents, my committed support network and NALIS. Look out for the 2nd and remember to get your Powerful Ps tshirts.
