This exhibition explores the grief process and how we experience and acknowledge death and loss. After the unexpected death of her husband in 2021 - whilst caring for her four month old baby and two and a half year old son - the artist created this body of work to aid her journey through the healing process. ‘I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO SAY’ aims to share a very personal experience in the hope that others experiencing loss might feel that little bit less alone.

Cette année, le festival invoque l'un des fétiches incontournables et iconiques du cinéma de genre, grand complice des imaginaires : une voiture à la carrosserie rutilante. En lévitation dans un brouillard occulte, phares allumés, telle suspendue au-dessus d'une mer de ténèbres, la cylindrée nous éblouit de sa dose de fantasmagorie et de mystère.
Cette composition saisissante célèbre les fondamentaux du NIFFF en évoquant son ancrage lacustre tout en préfigurant la métamorphose à venir. Aussi bien outil du quotidien que monument du fantastique, la voiture est objet de désir, vecteur de menace et porteuse de promesses pour l'édition à venir.
