Thanks so much for this birthday gift Vonnie! Is that a foldback…?

Thinking back on the year 2023 it occurred to me that when I was starting out in music my dream was to just travel from festival to festival each weekend playing music. That was '03 and in '23 I came pretty close to doing that every weekend! I definitely clocked up the most festivals in a single year of my career and it was magical! So a big shout out to the 32 festivals (hope I haven't missed any) that had me play this year solo and with various other projects at festivals from Australia to Germany, Scotland to Ireland, France to Switzerland and to the edge of the Poland/German border! Even better was doing it with family in tow and making memories together that we will never forget! Thanks to: Woodford Folk Festival Lake School of Celtic Music Song & Dance Moyneyana Festival Cygnet Folk Festival Tamar Valley Folk Festival Junee Poker Run & Blues Night Cobargo Folk Festival Port Fairy Folk Festival Melbourne Celtic Festival St Kilda, St Patrick’s Festival Melbourne Irish Festival CresFest National Folk Festival Koroit Irish Festival Australian Celtic Festival (Sydney Fleadh - Comhaltas Sydney) Top Half Folk Festival Newport Folk Festival Australia Camperdown's Robert Burns Celtic Festival ButeFest Ballyshannon Folk and Traditional Music Festival Festival Interceltique de Lorient Guinness Irish Festival (Fleadh Cheoil - Mullingar Fleadh 2023) Hamelner Pflasterfest Highland Games Zwickau Geheime Welt von Turisede - Kulturinsel Einsiedel Irish & Celtic Music Festival Deni Ute Muster Kangaroo Valley Folk Festival Dorrigo Folk & Bluegrass Festival and going full circle today to return to Woodford Folk Festival. Thanks also to the acts/projects I play with including Austral, Maggie Carty, MacCrimmin Melbourne Céilí Band. 🤠☘❤️ Special thanks to the festivals that looked after myself and my family so well with tickets, food and accomodation. As a constantly travelling family it is appreciated immensely! Somehow managed to do a truckload of gigs too! 😆

Im Rahmen unserer Reihe 'Kleine Open Airs in der Großen Burgstraße' bekommen wir heute, am Freitag, australischen Besuch. Das wird, super! Rhys Crimmin kommt endlich mal wieder vorbei✨🌈🦘

🤠 Stoked to announce I’ll be playing Deni Ute Muster in 2023! 🤠
It’s with great pride and pleasure that the Deni Ute Muster announces its all-Australian line-up featuring some of the country’s biggest names in country and pop music on Friday, 29 September and Saturday, 30 September 2023
It has been 25 years since our first Deni Ute Muster was created in 1999, the success and growth of this iconic event would not be possible without the support of all attendees over this time.
Going back to our roots, we are proud to announce the all Australian line up with many of the Muster’s favourites returning including Lee Kernaghan who was with us for our first Deni Ute Muster.
We welcome to our main stage for the very first time Missy Higgins, James Johnston, Casey Barnes, The Whitlams Black Stump Band and Deniliquin’s very own Zara Lindeman.
Once again our gates will be opening at 8.00am on the Thursday to allow early access to the camp areas.
From the previous Deni Ute Muster to the next, the team are continually working on putting together a program of music and activations for all ages that will create great memories. We look forward to welcoming you through our famous Deni Ute Muster gates to experience a weekend of fun, friendships and a festival like no other in Australia.
