Here’s some improvised noodling. This is generally how I generate material when I’m feeling uninspired. Just noodle around until I hear something that peaks my interest. I think there’s definitely something here.

Why do I make music? 20/02/2023

I got into music at an early age. It all started with the piano, which has followed me throughout my life. I was always interested in creating music but never took it too seriously. It wasn’t until I started playing in bands and toying with sequencers that I saw myself actually doing it in a meaningful way. This led me to university to study new media and composition, and eventually further study in the UK. It has been an interesting ride so far! The plan was never really to do music professionally - not that I really had a clue as to what I wanted to do back when I started. I always thought I’d do this for a few years and then get a ‘real’ job. But here we are! It’s a tough business, but I now know the grass certainly isn’t greener anywhere else. You might as well do something you like.

Covers - Been exploring music that inspired me growing up. This track, Paranoid Android, by Radiohead is off the album OK computer. A seminal album to me personally. But, it was version of this song that really got to me and cemented my love for Radiohead’s work. I love playing this song, though my piano playing has gotten a bit rusty over the years.
