Please take a moment to read the following details carefully, as it will ensure a smooth transition for your future visits. Effective July 1, our office will relocate to a new home. 1731 W Baseline Rd. #104. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs): Why did you change your location? We are aware that many of our patients travel both near and far into the downtown/midtown district seeking care from our team. As our office continues to grow and expand, we decided it is best to relocate to a family-based community with more opportunity to better accommodate the patient base we currently serve. How will this affect my future appointments? Existing scheduled appointments remain unaffected by this change. All new patient appointments, however, will be postponed until after the move. Please make a note: If you have an existing appointment reserved after June 30th, update the address to ensure you arrive at the correct location for your next visit. Will there be any changes in the clinic's contact information? No, all our existing contact details, including phone numbers and email addresses, will remain the same. You can still visit our website at www.bretonfam.com, reach us at 602-274-9242 or email [email protected] for any inquiries or to schedule appointments. Are there any other changes I should be aware of? Apart from the new location address effective July 1, 2023, there are no other changes you need to be aware of. Ever wondered why your dentist measures the gum tissue around your teeth? Your toothbrush can only clean up to 3 millimeters below your gumline which means that 1-3 mm pocket is considered relatively healthy. The International College of Dentists USA Section presented our very own Dr. drjessb with a membership plaque, a gold lapel pin and an engraved gold key symbolic of this Fellowship for conspicuous service rendered in the art and science of Dentistry. The International College of Dentists (ICD) is the preeminent honor society of the world’s outstanding dentists involved in “Serving Others”. The ICD is dedicated to the recognition of outstanding professional achievement, meritorious service and the continued progress in the profession of dentistry for the benefit of all humankind. Dr. Jessica Brereton Peterkin, exemplified the core values of integrity, leadership, and service and was inducted as a Fellow of the International College of Dentists at its 88th Annual Convocation held October 14, 2022 with over 335 dentists from the United States inducted into the College at this year’s ceremony.

This past weekend was one for the books.I have been actively involved with organized dentistry for well over 10 years, but this was my first @nationaldentalassociation convention. As the first BIPOC student and graduate of @midwesternuniv CDMI, I was not readily able to successfully participate in @snda1972 as I didn’t have the manpower to start a chapter at my alma mater. Moving to Arizona, it was easier to participate with the @americandentalassociation and its constituents as there was not an NDA chapter here. This year, however, the NDA convention was held in Phoenix so I jumped at the opportunity to join forces with an organization motivated to improve access to healthcare in addressing health disparities for marginalized communities. My heart’s passion and life work combined with my desire to effect change was fulfilled in our community outreach event and intellectual discussions surrounding the very community I serve. What a blessing it was to be surrounded by other Doctors of color with like beliefs and mission. I look forward to continuing in action with beginning our own NDA chapter here in Arizona so that we may be able to effectively answer the call to help our fellow brethren in access to optimal oral health, education and prevention. •••••The National Dental Association promotes oral health equity among people of color by harnessing the collective power of its members, advocating for the needs of and mentoring dental students of color, and raising the profile of the profession in our communities.
