Happy new year everyone! Thank you SO much if you have bought something from the Magic Town Midway shop in 2023 or if you’ve liked / shared / comment on insta or facebook etc. I appreciate it a lot 💖 I can’t stop laughing at the crapness of this pic I just created 😂 The robin is one of those Xmas dec type ones with a beady red eye, glued crudely to a piece of wood. I saw it in barnardos at the weekend. I do really hope you all have a nice year though. Let’s go 2024!

I’m off work for a few days so taking the opportunity to add some Christmassy things to the Magic Town Midway shop. This is an advent calendar that’s currently available. It’s hessian with a little felt stocking for every day of December up to Christmas. Each stocking is numbered and you can put tiny gifts or sweets inside, and for Xmas eve there is a sack tied with a ribbon. I’ve got two of these available, both slightly different. They were quite plain when I originally picked them up, and both needed some repair work. I’ve mended all the stockings and embellished the calendar with ric-rac, ribbons, lace and little stars. The calendar hangs up using a red rope on a wooden pole which has a bead at each end to keep it secure. It’s reusable & sustainable and can be passed on to other family members or friends over time! The vintage Fisher Price Scarecrow I put on stories the other day is now for sale in the shop, along with a Jolly Jumping Jack! I love these FP cot toys, you don’t have to hang them in a cot, you can just hang them on your wall and they’re so bright & colourful they look awesome!

I added this vintage wooden puzzle to the shop this week. A red double decker bus! Surprisingly tricky to piece together for someone of my age… I was never any good at puzzles, and I think I must have got worse 😂😳 This puzzle is still in useable condition, but would also look lovely displayed.
