TheRussFactorShow is back to kick of the weekend! Join the gang for a recap of the week's BIGGEST gaming headlines, and then, enjoy some action packed gameplay with the boys! Come by, say HI! We're LIVE!
We made the decision today to shut down our Internet Radio Station, GiantMediaEmpire | Radio.. currently running an electronic "Music for Gamers" format.
Much like when I started the station in 2018, the time had long since passed where an Internet Radio Station was relevant... no one was seeking out that platform for entertainment or music, as things like Spotify and Youtube exist... But we gave it a try, one last time.
We had long since shelved the station, but, much like real radio, it was able to run itself and get weird bursts of listeners at all hours of the day...
But the time has come to say goodbye. We have a number of more relevant projects running right now, from TheRussFactorShow, to the growing popular TikTok Live Call of Duty streams with RussFactor and the boys, and an internet radio station just doesn't fit into ANYTHING we are doing now.
We put in the request to cancel the contract with our server company, so the station will run until it doesn't... at the end of the billing cycle.
If you never heard of it, nothing will be missed.. just figured I'd put a little post up to confirm that we were shutting it down.
