SheEO: Inform, Educate, and Inspire
SheEO was founded in 2015 by three high schoolers from Washington High School: Tara Bhatia, Almitra Dabholkar, and Mihira Patel. It first began as an organization whose goal was to inspire young girls to become leaders in their communities. With comprehensive workshops teaching the five steps to create an entrepreneurial venture and leadership skills, SheEO strove to break the glass ceiling in the business world.
Since our world is becoming increasingly dependent on technology, the founders to SheEO decided to bring computer science into their curriculum with a partnership with AI4ALL. SheEO will be teaching young girls how technology can be implemented to any business, and is now tackling the gender disparity in these two fields.
