Monday's concert was an absolute delight! A big thank you to Jamie Howell, PhD student, for his remarkable performance alongside Benjamin Oliver, Vicky Wright, Genevieve Namazzi, Adam Betts and our student performers. Jamie's work celebrates diversity by bringing together musicians from the realms of drum and bass, contemporary classical music, and improvised music.

Drawing from his 'Loop Work' series, Jamie crafted a piece that intricately weaves together varied looping textures and intricate grooves, allowing room for performers to explore and transform the music. The concert also featured an outstanding solo set by guest performer Adam Betts whose drumming style blends jazz freedom, rock passion, funk groove, and electro sounds, closing the concert with an electrifying performance.
