Good food = Good mood.

When we eat well, we feel better about ourselves and overall wellness. And good food choices create a positive self-reinforcing loop you get to feel good knowing you’re doing something good for yourself.

According to health experts, healthy choices empower you to make more healthy choices. This benefit becomes fuel and inspiration to keep going. A “food and mood journal” helps you determine which foods make you feel great and not-so-great.
Most importantly, record how you are feeling (mentally and physically) before and after each meal. This way, you adjust your diet to include more foods that make you feel great every day.

We love that food can support our overall mood each day. However, avoid overly-restrictive diets and remember that factors like adequate sleep, stress reduction, and social connection also support a healthy and happy mood. Balance is the key to wellness!

Did you know that a morning walk can improve mental health and overall health? It is easy, simple, energizing, and walking is a fantastic way to get moving and increase the physical activity in your daily routine. Mornings are a great way to get things done because your mind is at peace and has nothing to think about plus you get to see the sun and enjoy the vitamin D that it gives.

A morning walk should be on your everyday priority list, whether it be around your local park, beach, or the local café. Doing this every day can provide your mind to think, reflect and clear your mind.

According to research, morning walks help to release endorphins and serotonin, which are your body’s natural mood and self-esteem enhancers. Happy walking and enjoy the morning sunshine too!
