Today is not only special because it would have been my last but it also marks 4 years of doing art full time! Huge shout to John and the crew for taking such good care of me for over 4 years, there’s absolutely no way I could have ever done this full time without them! Running RFG for six years has been an absolute whirlwind and I’ve learned so much, but I am so excited and ready for this new journey! Some of you have been with us for almost six years and others have only recently joined us, but we’re thankful for all of you! It’s been a crazy whirlwind of a time, especially since Rich had to leave the country, but it’s finally coming to an end. has been an amazing home for us and the business the last 4 years, and kept me sane once Rich left. However, I am beyond ready to be reunited with my love and my floofs. You have two more opportunities to buy from me at RAM, and we’ll have markers for people to sign our banner to keep as a forever memento!
We got something exciting in the mail today! Be warned: excessive tearful happiness in photos 2-4! I’ll do a business update tomorrow, but for today we FINALLY have my visa! It’s been 643 days since I’ve seen Rich in person, and now we can finally book a flight to get a countdown in place til I can hug his neck!

Y’all know I try to be open and honest with y’all because I think it’s important that society stop stigmatizing mental illnesses and disabilities. For those who might not know I have ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, and Chronic Pain (hoping to get an actual diagnosis of what’s causing it after the move), all on top of running my business by myself. Everything I do is made by hand, every single bead is laid out and melted together with an iron. I’m never not in physical pain, but sometimes it’s so bad that it’s debilitating. I scrape by making what I can on weeks like that because Rich and I are dependent on my income. This week it hasn’t just been physical though, my adhd has been intense and all of that on top of still waiting for my passport and visa to come back has put me in a depressive and anxious down swing. It’s really not been a great week, but I feel like I’m having a minor upswing today. All that to say I don’t have any new wood pieces this week, I barely was able to make the bare minimum for the table display. If I’m moving a little slower at Riverside Arts Market tomorrow please give me grace. I’m just doing my best and that’s all I can give right now.
It’s Saturday which means approximately 100 different artists, vendors, and food trucks are set up at today from 10-3! Come support local and shop small this weekend!
Brought back some goodies from days past for new wood pieces this week! See everyone under the bridge at tomorrow from 10-3! •

Come see me and the RAMily at Riverside Arts Market today until 3!
Finally, after all this time my passport is getting sent off at the beginning of next week to get my visa! We, of course much like every other aspect of this process, have no idea how long it will take to get it back, but it’s another step forward! I’ll be sure to update as we know things! All that being said I’ll be at tomorrow from 10-3, with the goods!
I’ve been all over the place this week between life stuff and filling orders, so didn’t get as many wood pieces done as I would have liked but the top 3 will be joining me at tomorrow! Vegeta and Skull Kid are for a custom order!
Immigration and Business Update: very early this morning Rich and I got the news that we’ll be moving to the next step which means paying a Immigration Health Surcharge ($2200) and sending in my passport to receive my visa. We don’t know exactly how long that process will take, but hopefully not long. So with all that in mind we come to the business. There’s still a lot of unknowns, but we now for sure know that my time here is winding down. As for stock that means I’ll have a smaller number of inventory at If you know there’s something you want, I’d highly recommend ordering ahead because chances are high it might not be available at market especially if you get there later in the day. If you order ahead I’ll have it behind the table just ready for you to grab and go! Payment is required before I make things since they’re made to order. Once I receive my visa, whenever that may be, I’ll only be doing two more markets after that to sell off my stock. Rich and I want to thank you for so many years of love and support, we couldn’t have done this without you. See you tomorrow at RAM with these new wood pieces!
Pixelated Art from the Heart
Random Fandom Gifts was founded by Alexis and Rich Oliver. Alexis and Rich’s whole relationship revolves around geekdom. They first met while cosplaying at Edinburgh Comic Con in 2015. As cosplayers they regularly attend comic conventions, and they noticed a trend in the vendors hall. Amazing geeky merchandise but many at exorbitant prices. People save every bit they can to afford to attend conventions and even more if they cosplay at them, but they regularly didn’t save enough to buy the merchandise of their favorite fandoms. So they set out to make that a bit easier for everyone. They created a business that provides affordable geeky merchandise, and that’s why all items at Random Fandom Gifts are handmade and affordable.
