Many folk don’t know but, this school year I have been blessed to work with youth in Philadelphia. My role at the school allowed me to help direct our arts showcase. We have been planning and working for some time and finally Tuesday was showtime! The theme was “We are Royal” and my babies showed out! I just got some footage back from our student videographer and just fell in love at how chunk was just chilling while momma was working! I heard my baby crying and just couldn’t resist getting my baby! Looking at this I am reminded how blessed I am in every way! To do the work I do and show up as Magik EVERYDAY! Part of my destiny is to uplift and activate these babies while helping them remember their power! As I teach them they teach me and it’s beautiful ✨❤️

Happy birthday cuz! This has been a very interesting last few weeks since you joined the realm of our ancestors. You are loved and so appreciated. When I came home for thanksgiving, I knew I was being sent on an ancestral mission. When I presented the family with our family stones and explained what it was about you were so open and welcoming of it all. Initially, I was nervous not knowing how everyone would receive this side of me, but you asked questions and even called me later to speak more about it. You complimented me on my energy and the way I’ve grown. I felt seen and accepted and it was beautiful. A few months ago I participated in a photoshoot with the intention to spotlight who decided to no longer accept and complain about our mistreatment in the States and moved to another country to build or in my case "Create my Reality".

My friend and visionary behind the project has a beautiful vision for this project and I am so honored to be a part of this whole mission! She is currently in Kenya doing her thing and a part of that is displaying her work on the walls of The . When she sent me these pictures, I was allll the way taken aback, s**t I still am lol.

I'm overwhelmed with gratitude looking at these images.

I give thanks to my for all the places and experiences it has led me, including this one.

Looking at these little ladies looking up at a picture of me is so surreal and is probably one of the most impactful moments of my entire journey ( I wonder what they're thinking).

I sat with today and cried as I sat in for the favor that has been shown to me. The blessings to be able to impact people all over the world.

I seek balance, nature, harmony and healing for all the little out here. I thought I was doing it for my nieces but Ifa has something different in mind. This image lights a fire in my ass hotter than ever before! I am humbled and inspired to rock the f**k out of this physical experience and fulfill the mission I came back here to do!

To-do lists are one of my ultimate favorite and most necessary tools in . They help me organize my thoughts, plans of action and keep me on track with the progression of manifestations. Eventually, I got to the point where it felt like for every one thing I scratch off, I would be adding at least two. I know y'all like "that's bomb tho right?" adding to the list means movement, means things are getting done! We want that right? Yes, but for me, that intense "gotta get stuff scratched off asap" energy that was too much for me. That energy does not feel pleasant to my body. I shifted the energy by surrendering to the truth that “it will all be what it’s going to be” and I now trust each thing will be taken care of in its divine timing. Now, I follow my day with how the energy moves me. I am not a prisoner to my schedule or my to do list. When spirit makes time for me to knock something out, Im knocking it out. Shout out to this moment, because I have been wanting to get this post done for a min! It all happens when its time. That’s why it’s divine! ✨✨

Months ago, I received a message from to leave Dallas. Soon after, I was on a flight to . After traveling for over a year, I yearned for stability. Oko and I had been cleansed of two homes in a matter of months, one in a fire and the other water. It was such an intense time to be , yet it was our reality.
Spirit had been communicating, but I wasn't listening. I tried to figure my way out of it. I ignored things, I made excuses. As a new , I wanted to do what was "right". But who's right was I doing?
Not mine & it was clear based on my reality.
I was lost in a foreign world and needed to realign myself. When you are familiar with being in your power, it is difficult to settle for anything else. Which meant it was time to get real & admit that I had abandoned myself, my gods & my purpose. It also meant disappointing a few people I love, even hurting them.
So here we are again with the classic "to honor self or do whats "right" crossroads. Do I concern myself with what others may think or say or do I follow spirit?
At this point, I'm sure its clear what I decided, and not because I don't care about the feelings of others but because I care about my peace and wellbeing more.
It took a minute to get the nerve to make the change but once I did, my reality immediately reflected it and spirit rewarded me for standing up for myself.
Making the decision to honor self, will never sit right with everyone in your universe and thats perfectly fine. You didn't come here for them. We all have a destiny and that unsettled feeling inside is your sprit screaming to you that you are not following it! Don't be afraid to stand in your truth my love.. Everything is always working out for us especially when it may not feel like it. Trust in your and you will be rewarded. I promise!
