Two women.... 52 Peaks in 52 Weeks around the world .
I'm at Movara Fitness Resort this for hike week. Movara was one of our amazing sponsors for 52 Peaks . I had the wonderful privilege to do a presentation about our 52 Peaks journey. Here are some pics from our hiking so far. We will be having another hike week in February . Message me for more information and join us !
Tami completed Peak #52 on June 6th, 2017 by hiking to Half-Dome. This mountain was what hooked her on hiking, so it's only fitting that this would be Peak 52. It's been an incredible year! Thank you all for following and for your support and love!
I completed my 52nd Peak in Ecuador on Chimborazo reaching two of its 5 peaks, the highest being the Whymper Peak at 20,594' and the highest point in Ecuador . You can continue to follow my adventures at my page Tjay Hiker . This completes 52 Peaks . It's been an amazing journey and I thank all of you for following .

Everest Base Camp Everest Base Camp, Lobouche & Island Peaks "It's not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves." Sir Edmund Hillary (the first person to climb Mt. Everest) Why This Peak for Tami? Hiking to Everest Base Camp is number 3 on my bucket list and has been one of the things I have most wanted to accomplish.
52 Peaks is off to the next Peak - Mount Huashan in China. The weather isn't great, so keep fingers crossed. The big draw for this peak is the plank walk - it's consider the most dangerous hike in the world and is the entire reason 52 came to China.
The quote for this peak: "To live is to be willing to die over and over again." Pema Chödrön

Mount Huashan Mount Huashan "To live is to be willing to die over and over again." Pema Chödrön Why This Peak? Mount Huashan has the plank walk which makes it by many accounts the most dangerous hike in the world. This is the reason we came to China. Mount Huashan is also one of the five sacred

Peak # 39 -The final push to the summit of Cayambe- Ecuador just under 19,000'.
Peaks 37 and 38 are in the books, Corazón 15,718'/4791m and Illiniza Norte 16,818/5126m. I have been loving Ecuador . Special thanks to my great friend Lori for making the trip here to join me this week.
Peak # 36 Sincholagua 16,073'/4899m was a lot of fun. Diego, founder, owner and guide of Andes Climbing in Machachi, Ecuador, set up a surprise summit for me . Not only that , he gave me a sweet 4 legged climbing companion named Cotopaxi. Yes this dog is a climber ! Diego and his cousin Henry, led me to believe we were just going to do an acclimation hike so when I saw Henry with climbing rope and was told to bring my harness and helmet, I was quite curious and super excited. Despite the rain and light snow, it was a great day to the summit of Sincholagua. around the world
Peak #35 Ruminawi 15,459'/4721m is located in Cotopaxi National Park in Ecuador . Many thanks to Diego of Andes Climbing for setting up all of my hikes and climbs in Ecuador. around the world
Peak # 34 Chirripo, the highest peak at 12,533'/ 3820m, in Costa Rica . We managed to do this long hike in just one day hiking nearly 25 miles and a total of 8,750' of elevation gain.
