Dr. Joseph Mesquita is a Doctor of Acupuncture and New York State licensed acupuncturist. He earned his Doctorate degree in Acupuncture from Pacific College of Health and Science and trained in Psychological First Aid through Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Mesquita often works alongside multi-disciplinary healthcare providers which gives him an integrative medicine approach to patient care.

I have been working with Joey since 2016 and have watched him blossom into the stellar acupuncturist he is today.

I trust in his ability to help people not just with his knowledge of the body/mind but with the kindness of his heart. I’m so excited for everyone to meet him and I know you will come to love him as much as I do.

Big news, I know. I’ll be wrapping up my residency 5/1/23.

I have so many emotions right now. I’m relived to be spending more time with my family but I’m also really sad because I have so many people I love and care for that I may not see as often.

For my acupuncture patients, I appreciate all of you so much. Caring for you has been one of the great honors of my life and I’m so grateful that you chose me to help you.
I have found an amazing practitioner who will be taking over and he will be working with me next month to assure you all have consistency in your treatments. Joesph is a shining star and you will be very happy with him. I promise!
I will miss all of you- especially you NYC! You have shaped me into the person I am today and I will see you again, very soon.
