Our 9U Group had 19 great kids come out to Tryouts! A Big Thanks to both Coach Harris and Coach Fitzpatrick for stepping up to coach the teams! Congratulations to all of the boys and we look forward to a great season.

Now they are 2 for 2! Congratulations to our 11U Team who took their talents to Knoxville this weekend and went 5-0 to win the Sandlot Sports Holston River Classic!

Tonight is the last night of tryouts for most of our teams (14U still has Sunday)! If you want to be a part of the Cruisers Family we hope to see you out tonight!

Tomorrow and Friday are setting up to be busy days for Tryouts and we couldn’t be happier about that. When you arrive, each player will need to register under the concession pavilion whether you filled out an online form or not.

Congratulations to our 2024 11U Cruisers on their Showtime win this weekend! This is our newest created team so they decided to try to get a few tournaments in this Fall! So far they’ve hit the ground running winning the Championship in their first tournament after going 4-0 in a rain shortened 1 Day Tournament! Great Job boys!

We’ve had a GREAT turnout for our 11U Cruisers with 17 kids out so far! We may have enough for 2 teams before it’s all said and done! FRIDAY will be the LAST OPPORTUNITY to tryout. We will be making the decision on who makes the team(s) this weekend. If your son is at all interested we hope to see you Friday!

9U Player of the Week:

Congratulations to Caleb Perry on being our 9U Player of the Week! Caleb is a hard nosed player that has worked all season playing wherever he’s been asked to play. This weekend he had one of his best weekends of the season and hit the ball really hard all day! We love seeing players progress throughout the season and Caleb is one of those kids we are happy to see succeeding! Keep up the hard work Caleb!

Congratulations to our 8U Cruisers on their Runner-Up Finish in Nicholasville this weekend!

9U Player of the Week:

Dax Frei is our 9U Player of the Week ! It’s hard to know what to say about the kid except that he just gets it. There is no other player on this team that makes a bigger positive impact than him and he does it in the dugout whether he’s in the game or not. Today he made the most of his chances laying down a perfect bunt single that scored a run on the throw, then followed it up the next game with the game winning catch on a ball not many would have gotten to. The kid is loved by all of his teammates and coaches! He’s the type of kid we should all want our boys to emulate regardless of ability. He exudes positivity and for that reason he’s our 9U Player of the Week!
