Dr. Swanson works in the Texas Technology Access Program at the Texas Center for Disability Studies, University of Texas at Austin, USA. She brings experience as a practitioner and professor of music therapy. Dr. Swanson has served a wide range of clinical populations, utilizing assistive technology with individuals on the autism spectrum, persons with developmental and intellectual disabilities, and adults with neurological challenges. Dr. Swanson has published in several journals and frequently presents across the US and internationally. Currently, she is serving as President of the World Federation of Music Therapy.

Dr Stine Lindahl Jacobsen, Ph.D, is an Associate Professor and Head of Art, Health & Technology Education, and Head of the Music Therapy Research Group at Aalborg University. She is also Head of the Regional Arts and Health Center at AAU and the Head of International Music Therapy Assessment Consortium.
Dr Jacobsen has recently released a new book on music therapy assessment and has created an online tutorial for MTO on managing difficult conversations with our clients.
She has also developed a validated music therapy measure called the Assessment of Parent-Child Interaction (APCI) and trains music therapists and researchers internationally. Publications include edited book chapters, manuals and articles and she has given numerous lectures and keynotes all around the world.
