Katra is an impeccable Lower East Side lounge and event space that embodies the elegance on a luxurious level. Its Moroccan motif on such a superlative scale that it’s much more than a lounge, it’s like a temporary getaway.
Step through Katra’s inviting doors and be transported to a place decked with supple lounge couches, embellished tapestries and striking light fixtures, handcrafted by the Moroccan artisans of Berber villages. Authenticity is evident in the design and it just adds to Katra’s allure. Designer Lesly Zamor’s vision for Katra was one unlike your conventional New York event space, lounge, or restaurant. The rouge-colored lighting envelopes patrons from above and the décor, along with the well-chosen food and drink menus, have the ability to seduce all your senses.
