Fernley moved to a one day race. Just got done with that. Nothing Sunday now.

PC is closed for the GP.

Riverfront is closed tomorrow with a tractor with a broken rear arm. Part is on order and we should have it Monday to fix.

🚨🚨Race week for the Sandbox in Fernley.
Full schedule:
•
Sandbox- Friday is scheduled practice from 9am-2. Gates open 8am and lock at 9pm.
Saturday is all first motos. Gates open 7am and close at 9pm, quick practice at 9am with racing to follow. Sunday is all second motos with quick practice at 9am and racing to follow.

Riverfront- Thursday night practice from 4pm-9pm. Sunday all tracks 9am-2.
•
Prairie City MX- Saturday and Sunday practice from 9am-2.

Thanksgiving week schedule:

Riverfront- Sunday practice 9am-2.

Prairie City MX- Friday private day 9-2. Saturday and Sunday open practice 9-2.

Race is now on Sunday with gates open at 6:30am, practice at 8am and racing to follow. There is camping available Saturday night from 4pm-9pm.

Awards will be given out class by class as the second motos finish within a certain time frame in case of any issues. This is our best solution to get the series finished and awards given out. Hopefully we don’t get more rain Saturday than they are predicting and this plan works out 🙏. Thank you for working with us. Let’s have some fun 🏆🏆

🚨🚨It’s finally here!! This weekend will be our first scheduled practice days open at the SANDBOX. Saturday and Sunday will both be 9am-2. You MUST sign up online to reserve your spot!!

We’re limiting spots so we can keep it safe, manageable and the track in good condition without splitting practice ten different ways and cutting sessions short. We’re running our normal 20 min of minis at the beginning of each hour and 40 min big bikes for the rest of the hour. Full schedule will be listed including water on the signup sheet online.

Signups open at 12 noon on Monday. Both Saturday and Sunday will be listed for big bikes and minis. Sign up accordingly.

Monday we’re meeting and going over the track plans and schedule our start date. Lots of fencing and gates to put up first thing t ok get us all safe and legal beagle.
I’ll be going over track layout and equipment. We bought 1 water truck and got it headed our way from SoCal.
Still need a couple shipping containers and we’re going over resumes this weekend to hire a couple operators to join our team.

🚨🚨The time is here… Yes finally we’re coming to Nevada!!!! Looking to hire 2 operators in the Reno/Fernley area right away. Time to start moving dirt and burnin Deisel. We’re going to need some help on this one so I’ll be reaching out with more info but here’s a small list right now to get started. Please email with any information or leads. ** Make Up race at Riverfront on August 5th and 6th has been canceled**

After discussions with and calls to the National Weather Service, the forecasted heat is going to cause us to cancel this weekend’s race. The high confidence forecast has the temperature up to 104F on Saturday and up to 107F on Sunday. We looked into making the race a night race, but the heat is still too much. While we want to make the race happen, safety is our #1 priority, and hard decisions needed to be made.

To make up for this race the Series is going to make Round 9 at Prairie City, on October 7th and 8th, a double header with racing on both Saturday and Sunday with a practice from 9-2 on Friday October 6th.

Super frustrating. Sorry guys.

Cant catch a break. Closed tomorrow. Track is fully prepped. Fuel is burned, hours of payroll spent… no water. Can’t say it’s for lack of effort just a pump and heat issue. Our pump and well guy is not available until next week so we’ll tackle that issue Monday. 🤬🤬
