If your daughter took exam snacks back please tell her to give them to the house mom Debby. As of yesterday Debby has only received snacks from 4 girls. Thanks!!

Hi Parents!! We are looking for donations of exam treats. The girls love this and can use all the "munchies" they can get while they study and take those exams. Please let us know if you can send exam treats back with your daughter after the Easter break.

Some suggestions of treats are:
Granola bars
crackers
trail mix
peanut butter crackers
m&m's
chocolate!! :)
individual bags of chips

or anything else you would like to send!

Hi Parents!!! As this semester comes to end, the Parent Club officers would like to thank you all for supporting us and our girls this school year.
We hope to see you at the Parents Weekend next week!!

We also would like to announce that the officers will be "retiring" from our positions at the end of this semester. So we will need a President, Vice President and Treasurer. These officer positions are NOTHING like PTA or other parent associations you may have been involved in during your daughter's high school or middle school years. It's mostly emails....we PROMISE!! :)

Hello Parents!
I'd like to start off by introducing myself, I am Mary Claire Cockrum a junior and I will be your Parents chair for the 2019 year! This spring we will be having a combined parents weekend! It will be Saturday March 30th and we will be having lunch and going to the MSU vs LSU baseball game. Lunch will be served at the house from 11-1 followed by the baseball game starting at 2. Our chapter will be providing general admission (standing room/outfield) tickets so please feel free to bring folding chairs and blankets since there will be no seats. We will only have tickets for 2 parents and your daughter. Your daughter(s) have received a link to sign up for this event so please communicate with her if you plan to attend. If your daughter does not sign up, we will not be able to serve you lunch and will not have a ticket for you. If you have any questions please feel free to email me at [email protected] or have your daughter text me!

We are looking for ZTA Parent's Club officers for next year, President, Vice President and Treasurer. I promise it's nothing like PTA or anything you may have done for your daughter's middle or high school parent groups. Honestly, it's mostly emails with the House Manager who is a very sweet girl and my daughter's roommate, Jamie Topp, along with Rebecca Fletcher, who is the parent chair.

Rosalie Parkey has been the treasurer the last few years and has everything VERY organized!! Her daughter graduated so we need to fill her position! Shelly Melchior and I have been VP and President this past year, but are happy to pass our positions along to others. 😁 And you don't have to live in Starkville or nearby to hold these positions! In fact, we live in TN, GA and AL!!

Thanks to everyone who offered to send exam snacks back after Thanksgiving! The girls will have lots of tasty treats to get them through exams!

We enjoyed meeting many of the Zeta parents, members and alums today! Thanks for joining us! Hail State!!!

The Parent's club is hosting lunch at the house next Sat. before the homecoming game. A BBQ lunch from Lil Dooey's will be served at 11am. An email went out to all parents last Thursday asking for RSVP's. If you will be attending, please send an email to [email protected] by 6pm Monday, the 16th, and let us know how many will be in your group.
