6 mile run with hills. I am struggling with recovering from my 50k which was 2 weeks ago and continuing to train for my next marathon. My next marathon is in 5 weeks.
Track day with my unofficial Brown's Point running club. My friends were running a tempo run on the track. I had already done a tempo run yesterday so I paced my friend Angela for her run. She did great! I think she is faster than she thinks! Anyway, LOVE my running friends and I love meeting them on Fridays!โค๏ธ๐๐
6 mile run with hills. I tried to really push it up the hills today. Speed work tomorrowโค๏ธ๐
I took a few days off running to finally let my legs rest after my 50k. I planned on running yesterday but after working nights and only sleeping 3 hours, I felt like a zombie! 5 1/2 weeks until my 13th marathon, the Seattle marathon!
1200 and 400 meter repeats with a short warm up and cool down. Fun times with running friends Min, Angela and Jason! I had planned on jogging while they did their track workout since I just ran my 50k but my competitive side got the best of me!๐ 6 weeks until the Seattle marathon!
5 mile run on my birthday!! Doing my most favorite thingโค๏ธ๐ I can't believe I am 37๐๐ My legs felt good. It's been almost a week since my 50k!
3 slow miles yesterday and 5.5 miles of trail running today! I LOVE trail running!! My legs are feeling pretty good!
From my race on Saturday- All done!! 2nd female overall and 1st in my age group! Holy cow that was the hardest thing I have ever done! It poured almost the whole time. I was running through giant mud puddles. My shoes were soaked around mile 4. And I fell once and slid in mud multiple times! Fun though!๐
Ready to go for tomorrow!! My first 50k trail race and it's supposed to rain! To say I am nervous would be an understatement๐ Wish me luck!โค๏ธ๐๐
Rest day today. I was too tired anyway.. from working nights last night and switching to dayshift tomorrow๐ด๐ด I hate tapering though!! 3 days into Point Defiance 50K!
6 miles yesterday and 4 today. It's my last week of tapering for my 50k. I can't believe it's in 4 days!! I will also have my flight for the Boston marathon booked by the end of the week!
Spinning with a live DJ tonight and a 6 mile trail run earlier today! I am going to sleep well tonight!โค๏ธ๐๐ด

I forgot to post this from earlier. 8 mile run today with 1,266 elevation gain. Lots of hills today. The trail running is definitely making my legs stronger๐ 16 days until my first 50k. 9 weeks until my 13th marathon.
6 mile run during soccer practice tonight. I am just going to be honest and say today sucked! It started at the end of my shift at work this morning. I feel like I have one too many things going on in my life right now and it's finally getting to me. Some people ask why I run so much. I believe running is how I cope with things. While I am running, I have no worries, no cares. It's the only time when I can just be me and be free. I thank God for running every dayโค๏ธ Tomorrow is a new day๐
22 mile trail run with just a little over 2400 ft elevation gain. The last 5 miles were tough! So happy to be done. Last long run for my first 50k!
