We are looking for a Java developer responsible for building and maintaining Java applications. This includes anything between complex groups of back-end services and their client-end counterparts. The primary responsibility will be to take ownership of these applications which include the ability to understand the scope and limitations of the infrastructure. We are looking for an individual with a commitment to collaborative problem solving and keen to detail for product quality assurance.

Startup shift - consists of 2 parts, preparation and market open actions.
For preparation part, this is a few simple tasks that should be completed within one hour, can be conducted any time between Saturday to Sunday morning (EST).
For market open actions, you should be monitoring any issue that may arise during market open hour (Sundays 5pm EST - around 11pm-12am BG time)
The person who handles the startup shift for the week can take a half day off in that week. Most people would take the half day on Fridays, so the week could look like this: startup shift on Sunday, full day from Monday to Thursday, half day for Friday.
