Together Women Rise is a powerful community of women and allies dedicated to achieving global gender equality. We have hundreds of local chapters across the U.S. where members learn about and advocate for gender equality issues, give grants to organizations that empower women and girls in low-income countries, and build community, to forge meaningful connections that increase our strength and collective impact. Our fundraiser begins Monday and runs through October 3rd, so don't delay! We hope you can join us to support the women and girls through Together Women Rise.

Please invite friends to join our online party and fundraiser, join our FB group with the link below and watch for fun times, shopping specials and of course access to the full catalogue. My favorites are the new stoneware cooking/baking items, just love them. See what else is new!

FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS!

We are planning a different type of program for Together Women Rise as the model no longer depends on home circle meetings. Now we are able to create whatever kind of fundraising and programs we'd like - a new plan, a new look and many new opportunities to invite people to support the grants of Together Women Rise.

We ask that you SAVE the DATE! Thursday July 28th, 7PM, DM for meeting details.

We look forward to seeing everyone and to brainstorm a new way forward for Fall 2022 into 2023.

To wrap back around here is the JUNE 2022 featured program;

Project Title: Girls Soar in Morocco (GSM): A Leadership Training Program for Marginalized Teen Girls
Location: Morocco
Grant Amount: $50,000
Grantee Website: www.projectsoar.org
Areas of Impact: Education, Gender Equality, Health
Mission of Project Soar
Project Soar’s mission is to empower marginalized teen girls to become the leaders of today and tomorrow.

Project Summary
This project will enhance the leadership skills of girls in under-served sites across Morocco through the establishment of Girl Leader Clubs and a unique empowerment program.

Why We Love This Project
The Soar solution is a holistic, rights-based approach to propel young girls to forge their own path and soar. Their unique, 25-workshop empowerment curriculum focuses on these five modules: Value, Voice, Body, Rights, and Path. Their focus on helping marginalized teen girls, some with physical and mental disabilities, to become their own change agents has been highly successful in challenging gender norms, overcoming barriers to higher education, and creating the leaders of tomorrow.

PLEASE NOTE that the donations to DFW have dropped significantly over these last few months, as chapters are regrouping and determining how to meet as well as the financial impact for so many donors. The impact is serious for our grantees as funding will need to be shifted and cuts made throughout the organization to meet our promised grants. As we also know, many of our grantee communities are also suffering through the corona virus health crisis.

The organization is asking, and is encouraging each of us to consider registering as a recurring donor by using the online donation link and selecting REPEAT PAYMENT in order to make your monthly donations. This will provide some stability to the financial obligations, whether we meet or not and we don't have to worry about getting our individual checks in the mail.

We hope you can rejuvenate your interest and support of the women and girls we support throughout the world. We are here, for such a time as this, as the world finds a new way forward, and those who are unseen and marginalized are not forgotten.

thanks!
