Here’s to a new week … actually it’s my favorite time of year. Back to school even tho I don’t go to school it’s a vibe and it will soon be cooler out.

I wanna give it a shout out to all the good people I work with. I’ve been doing this art thing a very, very long time… Like my art we can call it a habit. I don’t even wanna call it a business. It’s what I do 24 seven… It’s what I do for fun. It’s what I do for work - it’s been the fairiest life ever !

Today at the gym, I had a bunch of people come over and take some pictures of my car… I was doing a little video and then it turned into like a little party. I will say having done this for so long. I am a self-appointed snob when it comes to having only the best & prettiest merchandise ever.

I test drive all of our products… And if I don’t like them, I don’t sell em. It has been such a great privilege and pleasure to work with Influenced Brandz, Drip Drop Distro and to be part of the CHAMPS Trade Shows Family. Along with all the awesome colabs with others like Seedless & Skunk Bags and Walt Anderson on my Tapestries.

 we are currently working on the next batch of website updates… And my webmaster he’s got his hands full with me… And he does a great job

Got the sketch going in the right direction…. This is the beginnings of Virgo 🧚🏼‍♀️♍️

Today started out like a normal day you know tons to do a list of 1 million things and all that kind of stuff. I went to the gym as always, and then I stopped at my little local grocery store… I had a few people in the parking lot stop me and laugh and take pictures of the car, that’s always a fun.

 then came home and did some more work and chores and that kind of stuff… I then took a drive into Cockeysville to see my friend Tripp Claude Dodson III (can’t find the store link) I totally think they have the coolest 💨 store in the north county. It’s always so good to see him and cut it up for a little bit. From there I went again to a second grocery store on my way home.

 on grauls grocery store parking lot… I was stop by about five or six different people who wanted to take pictures of the car and I said absolutely… And one older gentleman said to me oh my goodness I’ve been working a 24 hour shift I’m exhausted and irritable and your car just gave me the boost of energy that I needed - let’s take a picture together.

At that moment, it hit me. I really do this for the love of people because being a small business owner really is not a whole lot of fun. It’s tiring and long long hours.

When I go out and see people and even interact with people on a grocery parking lot that’s when real engagement happens. Go outside and see people it will make u feel brighter.

And we will have this little sweetheart next week and we can start making Leo ♌️ Things !

Very firm believer in shopping small now I do love the sale tons in the big fancy grocery but since I don’t eat all that stuff this is more than perfect and they remember ur name 🙏🏽 shop local family owner

Hey guys… Just an update. I’m a week late on this however I wanted to let you know they were finally up. We just listed a bunch of one kind originals on eBay sketches and stuff like that. My ID on eBay is fairieforest

We are getting the studio in order so we will be selling a lot of these kinds of things over the years. The flat files have really become over so I am trying to make some room.

She’s 99% finished and I take her, Leo ♌️ on Monday to get scanned that’s how this all works. It’s a lengthy expensive process…,

Been doing this a long time. Like 30 plus some years. I’ve been fortunate to get to work in some pretty cool industries from fairies to 🌱 and fine art shows and everything in between. The money is always a nice reminder of being paid for your experience. But for me what’s most heartwarming is seeing new young people dressing as a Fairie or sparklie creature at Champs or other industry events. That’s a confirmation that what I and a few others do has a real life impact on peoples psyche. Stoking ones imagination just might be one of the most important jobs I do on the planet. Money comes and goes but our imagination is the source of making it happen … ok enough pontification here’s Leo and next week I start Virgo ♍️ ( but before I do that… Barb I’m doing the lettering for your Momma 😉😉) I love u all so much 😘😘😘😘😘🌈

Totally real life … I really am a Fairie. These things I truly make do I can use em! This is one of my daughter’s signs and I just switched over my bag and I’m gonna use Aries for a while. I love this one a lot! It’s the one that made me decide to create the full series

It’s a commitment (that’s a hard word for me to say, but I am doing it… ) Leo ♌️ will be dropped off at my scanner guy this coming Monday. So we can make a Leo backpack 🎒 Jeff at they do the best scans on the east coast 💪🏽💪🏽🧚🏼‍♀️🦋

Here’s where she is ♌️ … I got into her today. Had a whirlwind of sales and computer 🖥️ work planned but I didn’t do it. Truthfully painting is way more important like when I die… The paintings are what is important not the freaking paperwork.

The past few weeks, I have been pulled so far out of the studio that I was starting to get really nasty… And believe me I can be a “C U Next Tuesday” and it was starting to be apparent.

so today after the gym, I decided to turn all my electronics off and just start working on this… I think the world and all it’s nonsense have been irritating me too 🙄 Painting and getting in the zone was a much needed exercise for a good noggin.

I promise I will get to the eBay stuff and I will get to sending out the newsletter with a coupon code and all that stuff this week. However, my sanity needs this more.

This is Leo… Stay tuned. I’m hoping to get her finished by the end of the week and then I will start Virgo ♍️

Seems like yesterday when we introduced her … and she’s now Sold Out! 💚🧚🏻💚 when I stop and think of all the cool stuff we have done and made over the years it’s really a fun career. Like from our Fairy Festivals, published w Brian Froud and touring in Europe. What we do these dayz is adult decadent 💨 fun. I think I need to put on some wings 🦋 and celebrate 🙌🏽🌈🧚🏼‍♀️👑
