Nitzinger
On January 10th we lost one of the greatest guitarist on this planet, Jeff Beck.
John as a young teenager and his band, The Barons, opened for the Rolling Stones along with the Yard Birds at Tarrant County Convention Center. When the Yard Birds' set finished, Jeff laid his guitar against his amp and walked away as feedback continued to play. John was amazed. Back stage, he asked Jeff, "How do you get that sound?" Jeff replied, "Put it on 10 Mate." As you know, John's been on 10 ever since! Jeff is forever on 10 in our hearts. RIP Jeff Beck.

Thanks to everyone for the birthday posts and messages of great memories! I have read most to John and will continue when possible. Currently, he is recovering after a day at the hospital ER (yesterday, the 30th), as he may have contracted COVID. The test is negative but the doc said a negative test doesn’t necessarily mean you don’t have COVID. 🤞🏻 🙏With his history of pneumonia and heart issues, the hospital performed chest X-rays, EKG and bloodwork as well. Heart and lungs are good.
We were told to isolate from each other as much as possible. I was sick with that virus and recently out of quarantine on August 19th. Doc sent him home with prescriptions to recover. This happened so suddenly. I’m keeping a close eye on him. Thank you again for all your wonderful messages as it lifts his spirits!
Today is John's birthday! Feel free to send a birthday message on the website: [email protected] or his page: https://www.facebook.com/john.nitzinger
