The interim Canada Dental Benefit is intended to help lower dental costs for eligible families earning less than $90,000 per year. Parents and guardians can apply if the child receiving dental care is under 12 years old and does not have access to a private dental insurance plan.

The first benefit period is for dental care received between October 1, 2022 and June 30, 2023. Applications for this period open on December 1, 2022.

Complete any steps you are missing so you're ready to apply when applications open.

I have decided to keep my staff home today as it is too dangerous to drive in this weather. We do not expect our patients to drive in this weather either. Everyone booked today will be contacted- obviously, we will not be charging cancellations fees today!!! 😂

August 16, 2021: Dental Hygiene of Niagara turns *7* 🦷 🎂

A Business anniversary is a big day. Celebrating success and achievements, appreciating your colleagues, staff, bosses, CEO, and even your customers for all the support and efforts they put into that business.

When you're confident in an idea, you want it to succeed immediately.

Expecting your business to take off right away is like expecting your two-year-old to head off to college tomorrow.

A company needs constant attention at the beginning if you want it to be healthy and grow. "It needs constant feeding and changing,"

The past 17months has been a notoriously difficult period for all business’…running the business to what may have appeared to be ‘smoothly’ was really, my team and I encouraging our little child to remain on track to transition into "adulthood.’

I’m using this metaphor because to me, growing a business easily compares to parenting a child. An important reason entrepreneurs should think of their companies as their children: You need to love what you're doing above all else. If you love it, no matter what happens, you'll get through it.

Thank you to my DHN dental squad, students, colleagues and clients for allowing me to share my passion for Dental Hygiene the last SeVEN years, the way *i* know how!

Here’s to another 30! 🤢 hahaha
