Children from the school on Rio Urubu down the river from our lodge. They are currently learning the indigenous ways as part of their schooling. So very important for these children to be taught these things as this is their heritage. We always have our clients visit the school and deliver supplies for the teachers and students.

Spent the day retrieving some supplies I left out for my walk. Resurrection Fern, Bromeliads, and Orchids are literally everywhere in this region. Not to mention some fish and wildlife too! The Everglades always gives you something to enjoy!

A few pics from inside the mangrove Forrest. We set up our hammocks over 6 inches of water because there is no dry ground. Had to build up an area to get a fire going. Tough going!
