Signiflyers from 🇬🇧London, 🇨🇦Montreal, and 🇩🇰Copenhagen all came together to collaborate, create, and connect.
We kicked things off at our CPH studio, then set sail for a glamping adventure on the beautiful 🇸🇪 Swedish island Hven, where we explored on bike trails, swam in the ocean, and enjoyed epic feasts under the stars. 🌿

We’re excited to share that we’ll be continuing our collaboration together this year—helping to shape a more holistic, transparent software solution that balances both income and impact for a better tomorrow.

Sensory marketing was a hot topic at SXSW this year. With the rise of the Metaverse and web3, marketers are looking for new ways to engage their audience with more immersive and memorable experiences - but why wait for the prevalence of complex technologies like VR glasses with smell diffusers to create good sensory brand experiences?
Why not start with something as simple as sound?
Sound has a great potential to create feelings, memories, and immersive experiences that can help your brand increase recall numbers - and you don’t need any new technologies to benefit from the untapped potential of audio. A pair of headphones can do the trick. As a digital innovation agency, we often remind ourselves that “new” does not equal “complex”. Sometimes the best experiences rely on using exciting technologies in new ways. At Signifly we specialize in building digital brands and products, but we rarely see businesses having an actual sonic strategy incorporated into their brand identity. The industry still seems to have an overarching focus on visual experiences - but will that change? And can all brands benefit from sonic branding?
We had a short chat with Lauren McGuire at SXSW after her talk on designing experiences with the untapped power of audio. Laurens's message was clear: If you have a visual strategy, you should also have a sonic strategy. Audio has the potential to unite the brand experience across physical and digital touchpoints - and then sound plays a vital role when you present new technologies and digital products to your customers.
