Bella's Best Sweets & Treats

Some birthday celebration cupcakes for a favorite customer (2 orders in 2 weeks!)! I absolutely adore her creativity with flavors & fillings.

A favorite repeat customer reached out and requested a special treat for her book club and sent me a recipe that I created. These are lavender, blackberry cheesecakes topped with a vanilla whipped creme and a fresh berry sit on graham (gf & regular) crust. I made my own lavender extract as I could find any locally, but found food grade Lavender (thanks to my customer!) Theu came out so pretty!

I’ve not been baking much, but still doing special orders as they come. I’ve had a few request for cakes lately!

Vanilla Milkshake Cake
Vanilla bean layers of cake with vanilla bean ice cream frosting. Decorated with a white chocolate drip, whipped cream and cherries. Paired with vanilla bean cupcakes with chocolate and strawberry buttercreams.

When a dear friend needs a cake, you make that cake! Chocolate cake brushed with espresso simple syrup and frosted with chocolate buttercream. It was hard not taking a big ‘ol bite of this one!

Today is my sweet nephew’s 2nd birthday. Last weekend we got to have a construction themed party and I got to make this fun cake for him! He didn’t really care about the cake, but he LOVED those trucks! I even snuck in a Jeep for his Uncle Monkey! Happy Birthday my sweet boy, Auntie loves you!

Wrapping up a crazy baking weekend were these lovely floral cupcakes for a baby shower. The mom to be is expecting a lovely little lady and requested white & pink flowers with gold accents.

Saturday was filled with a graduation celebration for our dear friends son. It was a pleasure to whip up these cupcakes for an wonderful young man off to college in the fall! Flavors included chocolate w/ peanut butter, strawberry w/ cream cheese, marble cake w/ espresso and marble vanilla colored for the Red Eddies.

It’s been a bit since Bella’s Best has had a weekend full of celebrations! I’ve missed the crazy chaos!

One of my favorite parts of being an Aunt is getting to make the celebration desserts for my niece and nephews. This past Sunday my niece turned 8 with a spectacular Harry Potter celebration! She asked for the cake and cupcakes to be her favorite, vanilla cake with vanilla cream frosting. Embellished with a few gold sprinkles, a Harry Potter cake topper and rice paper cupcake decorations. Happiest of Birthdays my sweet girl, Auntie loves you!

Whipped up this dark chocolate cake filled with caramel and frosted in dark cocoa buttercream for a weekend birthday celebration! It was hard to not take a big old slice when it was done!

I haven't been baking much due to COVID, but when your daughter's Birthday buddy calls and requests "Mama Verrill's cupcakes" for his birthday, I jump to action. It was nice to be baking for someone again. I miss weddings, parties and events so very much!
