Can y’all relate to this? It amazes me how many times we are accommodating, flexible, and understanding of people, particularly loyal clients, yet sometimes it goes unappreciated. The first time we tell some of them “No” they forget the many times we have said yes to them….from staying past our business hours, to booking appointments for them (without them using our websites or protocol), not charging them “non cancellation fees” or “no show fees” and the list goes on and on. We get ridiculed continuously for things we do. While we love what we do, when we expose the ugly side of our industry from OUR point of view, people don’t like it. Oh well. Hit dogs gon holler tho 🤷🏽‍♂️😎… What yall think?

There is room at the table for everyone, yet there continues to be a culture of competition, undermining, stealing ideas/techniques and masking it as “inspiration”, hating, and the post goes on and on. Everything has become about the money, not the craft, nor what we are imparting to the next generation of black beauty pros. I feel this is also contributes to our hair shows being awful now or non existent. What are your thoughts?
