Have you ever felt called or have you ever felt pulled to do something?? I can tell you this… that when I knew that I was supposed to open up my own firm in the state of New York I didn’t know how I was going to do it. I just knew that I was going to do it.

By the grace of God, all of the resources that I could have possibly imagined, showed up at the most opportune times to help me accomplish what I needed to accomplish in order to fulfill my purpose.

My journey of becoming an entrepreneur wasn’t stemmed from the desire to be my own boss. It was the desire to create some thing that had never been created with my stamp on it, because anything that I would create would have God at the forefront, and because of that He has given me the resources and the people, to be able to pursue my purpose. trust me…This is just the beginning.

Trust His plan - God uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things!! Let Him qualify you. :)

Every time I’ve experienced a setback, or a loss, or a rejection or failure I am so humbled and amazed at how God uses it for his glory.

Now, every time a door closes I just say okay God I can’t wait to see what you’re gonna do next - and every time He delivers with something bigger and better than I could have ever even dreamed of!!

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, and guess what? It’s a cosmic signal - time to get your credit in shape! Now, I can’t guarantee it’ll solve your relationship problems, but hey, at least it’s one less thing to stress about! In my world, every little thing is a divine hint that it’s high time to fix your credit. Just saying! 😄 ❤️

Someone needs you to not quit on your purpose.

Never give up when you’re called to do something! I know it’s hard…we weren’t promised that it would be easy - if it were easy everyone would do it. To my fellow dreamers, bosses, entrepreneurs and go getters…keep going. It’s not the destination…it’s the journey and who you become!

If you’re in the Northeast like me, this is the time of year where winter starts to feel like an eternity and people tend to start saying things like “when the weather gets better, THATS when I’ll really start building my dreams.”

But let me tell you. There will always be a reason to delay progress if you allow there to be.

Yesterday I attended the FREEDOM conference after completing the 12 week course through .

As we laid down our burdens at the cross and prayed with one another I felt so compelled to just kneel at the foot of the cross. It was an undeniable inability to stand as I was so grateful and humbled by the grace of Christ Jesus, and God the Father for the forgiveness and the freedom I received over these last few months…freedom from shame, guilt, pride, the anger, the hurt, the resentments that I had and had been holding on to. I made the choice to forgive not only others that had wronged me but also I forgave myself for the wrong I’ve done. There is not enough space to write all the verses that I feel compelled to put here but I hope this inspires you to pursue your own journey with Jesus Christ our Lord. Jesus is the answer. He is the way, the truth and the life. ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏

To my dear friend thank you for capturing this moment. It’s amazing - you just never know who is watching.

Let me ask you this: what does leadership mean to you?

What I have learned over the last few years is that the best leaders are the best servants. No, really…

Look at the greatest example ever set before us - our Lord Jesus! He was the ultimate servant leader setting the greatest example ever to live.

I have found time and time again that there is such a misconception with being in charge. People’s egos run wild, fear seems to be at the pinnacle of a “leaders mind” - fear of loss, fear of being vulnerable, fear of losing profit. And in the midst of thinking only of themselves everything around them slowly starts to crumble.

Lift others up, build them up, provide constructive feedback. Spend money on GREAT people!!! Don’t hold back compliments! Learn to be a better listener! Bite your tongue! Become a team player. Be discerning in arguments. Control your temper. But above all lead with love!!!! If you help others get what they want you will get everything you want!!

To my fellow leaders, what are your thoughts on this?!

This year my prayer is that as my businesses expands so does my heart! To be successful you need to be people people - in the words of . Last Sundays sermon was epic btw… :)

I love and I’m so grateful that God put you into my life. Your friendship is such a blessing and you inspire me Daily.

I always take time at the beginning of the year to reflect on the past years and the ways life has changed.

Recently, I’ve had the privilege of working with lots of 20-somethings both in a work capacity, but also as business owners and peers.

It made me think, what advice would’ve changed my thinking had I known it back then… so here goes.

13 things I wish I knew in my early 20s.

1. Going against the crowd is the better option.

2. If you’re in alignment with your purpose it’s not that it will be easy but you will have the endurance to persevere. Don’t be afraid to stand alone. Your purpose is your purpose and someone needs you to not quit on it.

3. Scripture. 1 Corinthians 13:4–8a (ESV) Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Always lead with this.

4. The Bible is the greatest and most motivational book ever written. It was written to guide us as we walk through this life to have as enjoyable of a life as possible. God wants us to thrive on this earth.

5. Life is best lived sober without drugs and alcohol.

6. I am blessed and highly favored.

7. Guard your heart for all you do flows from it.

8. Ask better questions and you will get better answers.

9. Learn to recover from setback quickly and don’t celebrate your wins too long.

10. It is my duty to be more to the world than the worlds is to me.

11. If I’m feeling stressed or anxious it’s because I’m spending more time with the world and I need to be spending more time with God.

12. It is always better to give than to receive.

13. Focus on a life that serves others. If you can solve other peoples problems the rest will come

If you’re honest and you accept your shortcomings - not only can you overcome them, but no one can hold them against you.

I think asking for help is one of the bravest things someone can do. And 4 years ago that’s what I did!!

Alcoholism is a vicious disease 🦠 and it’s extremely deceptive. My battle with it is not something I would wish on my own worst enemy- not that I really have any. :) I still have nightmares that I’m still stuck in that dark place of alcohol abuse and poor decision making.

But here I am today… sober, happy, grateful, healthy! With the help and love and support of my amazing husband it’s not really a battle to stay sober. It’s just a lifestyle. I look at alcohol like someone does peanuts with a peanut allergy. It’s just not something my body was built for.

What I love about my testimony is that truly by the grace of God I stand before you all humbled - a woman saved from herself and from addiction. God chose me to break me free from the true chains of addiction. I had to become honest first with myself and then everyone else around me. Once I was able to do that the rest of the pieces started to fall into place and then the real work began.

I think it’s so important to be open and honest about one’s shortcomings - if someone hadn’t been open with me about their sobriety I wouldn’t have even known where to start.

I just want to encourage you that if you’re struggling with addiction there is hope and I encourage you to seek help and be honest with yourself and those you love.
